Welcome to the 794th Tablescape Thursday! I’ve been battling computer server issues this week but I think my host company has finally found the issue. I have painters arriving this morning to do some touch-up work on the ceiling in the garage, so it has been a crazy week! But all is well now because we are jetting off to the south of France this week for a beautiful Christmas table setting dressed in elegant silver and white! Get that passport ready!
Norma has set a special table for Christmas in her cozy cottage home and we’re invited!
Norma said, “I dressed the Father Christmas after buying a cheap doll and ” undressing ” it! Norma sews and makes beautiful pillows and other pieces for her home so I wasn’t surprised to hear she gave Santa this beautiful makeover with a new wardrobe.
Norma created a winter wonderland as the centerpiece of her Christmas table.
Norma shared that her vintage dinnerware is “from French eBay.” Her deer napkin rings were also a find on eBay while the pretty napkins were discovered on a trip to Dubai also a few years ago.
Notice how the deer napkin ring picks up the gold in both the napkins and the dinnerware. So pretty!
A few more views of the centerpiece…
About her table runner, Norma said, “The silver runner, that I think you have seen before, is part of a beautiful Japanese obi.
It contains spun silver thread.”
Thanks so much to Norma for sharing her elegant Christmas tablescape! Looking forward to the beautiful tables linked for this week’s Tablescape Thursday! (If you enjoyed this post, subscribe for email updates when a new post is up here: Subscribe for post updates.)

Beautiful table! Loved Father Christmas, what skill Norma has. Also the gold, silver and white is always so beautiful together and elegant! Lovely.
A beautiful table and Merry Christmas to all!!
I think, here in December, we may conclude those are now magical, flying reindeer napkin rings!
A blessed holiday season to everyone!
Wow, what an elaborate costume Norma created for Santa! So many elements. He looks great. I also like the combination of silver and gold in this setting. The table runner is beautiful. The napkin combination on the plate stack is also very pretty. Such a pretty table, Norma. Thank you. Je vous souhaite un joyeux Noël et les bénédictions de Dieu en cette saison sainte.
Merci beaucoup à vous aussi
Norma

Wow – Norma has amazing sewing skills! Santa is regal in his new outfit! He’s presiding over a lovely table too. I especially love the napkins and salad plates. Thanks to both of you for sharing, and thanks for the party!
Norma sets a wonderful table. She dressed her Santa! The gold, silver and white is gorgeous. As well as the obi table runner. Thank you Norma!
