Welcome to the 863rd Tablescape Thursday! I have a delightful spring table to share for this week’s Tablescape Thursday that’s super budget-friendly. At the end of this post, you’ll find an awesome deal that I snapped up about a week ago. But first, let’s check out Sheri’s spring table!
Sheri said, “Did I need any more dishes??? No, but I wanted them to make a pink spring table for our next birthday dinner.” Spoken like a true lover of dishes and entertaining. 🙂
Sherry found the dinnerware she used for this spring table in Dollar Tree, 10 place setting for just $25! Her pretty placemats were on clearance this past winter in Hobby Lobby. Sherry said, “They started the ball rolling!”
Love the napkins! Sheri found those at Tuesday Morning many years ago. Sheri said, “I made the napkin rings by wrapping sheer pink ribbon around plastic shower curtain rings and added a pink ribbon bow. Mike made the wooden box I used for my centerpiece.” Sheri’s hubby, Mike, is a talented woodworker and always creates wonderful centerpieces for Sheri’s tables.
Thanks so much to Sheri for sharing her wonderful spring table!
Over the years, you’ve seen me use this cute Wallace Napoleon Bee flatware in many table settings. I initially purchased a set from either Horchow or Neiman Marcus, forgotten which now. In any case, it was a bit pricey, but I really, really liked it. That’s the set I chose to bring with me to the Dollhouse for use as my everyday flatware.
Lately, I seem to run out of spoons and sometimes salad forks before it’s time to run the dishwasher. I counted the other day, and one teaspoon is missing, so I only have seven. Ummm, not sure what happened to missing one, but I decided it was time to consider ordering a few more place settings since it’s annoying to keep running out. I started to order two more place settings on Amazon, but at the last minute, I looked to see if I could find it on sale somewhere.
I ended up finding an awesome deal! Right now, Mikasa has a full 8 place settings, including the 5-piece serving set, on sale for just $104. Just four place settings would have cost me that much on Amazon! If you like this pattern, you’ll find the sale here: Wallace Napoleon Bee Flatware. Based on the tracking, the set I purchased should arrive tomorrow. I’m excited to have an extra set of serving pieces, too! Had to share the sale since it’s such a good one for this flatware!
Looking forward to the beautiful table settings linked for this week’s Tablescape Thursday!
If you are participating in Tablescape Thursday, please be sure to add your permalink below, and not your general blog address. To get your permalink, click on your post name, then copy and paste the address showing in the address bar, into the “url” box when you link up. You’ll need to include a link in your post back to the party to link up and participate. That’s so visitors to your blog will be able to find the party and the other Tablescape Thursday participants. Requiring a link back also prevents businesses and scammers from linking up to sell their products. Please, don’t add your post name/blog name ALL IN CAPS…it tends to create big spaces between the rows of links. Please do not link up table settings that were just recently shared in the last few weeks for Tablescape Thursday.
What a sweet table Sheri set! The pink is so pretty and springy, and it’s great that she has such a thoughtful handyman husband. I love the little one in the background too, so patiently waiting for dinner. Thanks to both of you for sharing, and to you for hosting, as always. I so appreciate your heads up on the sales. Happy Thursday over there!
Oh my goodness, I read Barbara’s comment and had to go back to find the baby. Lol. So cute back there. Sheri, that’s a very pretty Spring Birthday table. The lacey tablecloth sets the stage for all the other elements that give it that soft, feminine vibe. And I think we can all relate to not ‘needing’ any more dishes but ‘wanting’ them, lol. I also like how Sheri started with the placemats and that was her inspiration for the rest of the table. It’s fun to see where one item takes you. Plus, how nice to have a hubby who helps you with the centerpieces. Thanks for sharing, Sheri. I hope the Birthday girl enjoyed her dinner.
Susan, argh… I definitely don’t need that bee flatware, but that IS a great price. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the heads up on the bee flatware. My youngest DIL has started collecting bee themed items so I’ve ordered them as a surprise for her.
Mine just arrived a few minutes ago and I love it still. The quality hasn’t changed, still as nice as when I ordered my first set several years back. I know she will love it!
I bought a set the first time I saw them on your blog years ago and I still love them!
Thank you so much for the link to beeware! Just ordered mine and I’m excited! Seems like a steal!
I am looking out of a window in upstate NY watching LARGE snowflakes pour down………at least your pretty Spring table warms my heart!!!!! I love the pink liner under the lace tablecloth, that is something I HAVE to try! Thank you for sharing!!
