Easter Table Setting with Bunny Plates and Baby Chicks

Welcome to the 239th Tablescape Thursday!

Though Easter has past now, I still have a few more Easter/Spring table settings to share with you.  Marie created wonderful tablescapes this year for all the dining areas in her home and not only are they great for Easter, they work wonderfully for springtime, too.

This week’s tablescape is in her breakfast room where she has the amazing Easter/Spring tree I shared recently in this post:  Decorate a Tree for Easter or Spring . You can just catch a glimpse of it there in the background.

Marie added spring wreaths to the back of each chair.  I absolutely love seeing the back of a chair decorated this way!

Perfect for spring!

The table is decorated with cute baby chicks and so is the tree nearby.

Notice how the wreaths echo the bright spring colors in the table setting .  The cute  multi-colored flatware Marie used for this setting was found on Amazon this year.

The adorable little chicks are from Pier 1 this year.  The darling bunny egg holders are from One Kings Lane.

Placemats are from HomeGoods and the Beatrix Potter “style” plates are from Hobby Lobby.

Napkin Rings are from HomeGoods years ago.  I saw some similar ones in Pier 1 this year, too.

The pretty floral centerpiece is from Pier One.

Did you love this table as much as I did?  Thanks so much to Marie for sharing her creativity and talent for setting a beautiful table for family and friends.  You can just see all the love she puts into each table.

Looking forward to all the tablescapes linked for this Tablescape Thursday!

Marie’s lovely seasonal decorations are so lovely & always bring a smile to my day! Thank you so much for sharing these lovey pictures Susan & hosting 🙂 A quick question for Marie, would she mind sharing the beigey/carmel paint color on her walls. I have been searching for a similar color & would love to be able to match hers. Our kitchen/family room is very similar in cabinetry & flooring & this color, I can tell, would be perfect!
    Best wishes, Pattie 🙂

thanks for you wonderful post. the color is an old benjamin moore paint color called onion skin. I don’t think it is stll around because i had used it in my other house when we redid the kitchen in 2003. i had to go back to the paint store where i originally bought it to get them to look on my chart of colors and remix the paint for this kitchen. i could not find the exact color on any of the new benjamin moore charts. i wish i could be more helpful
      good luck
      marie

      • Oh Marie, thank you so much for your thoughtful reply!! I did contact my local Benjamin Moore store & they too were at a lost of that color. They did however suggest that if I could supply them with the city &/or phone number of the BM store that mixed the paint for you, along with your last name and/or adress, they would call & get the formula from them…how’s that for service! If you would like, you could send me an email with that information, but if not, I understand…just an option they offered & mentioned that stores usually keep track on their systems that way.
Anyhoo, Thank you so much again for your sweet generous reply! Best wishes for now, Pattie

You can call Ben Moore…they have the old colors still. I needed the bedroom color Paula Deen used and it is not on charts now. They found it right away.

Have you seen the new Williamsburg decks? I adore those colors! Buy one online at Ben Moore.

          • Yep, I love those decks! I purchased the one that was labeled “Classic Colors” because it has my “Heritage Red” front door color. It wasn’t cheap, I think it cost $25 to buy it…but it had so many of the colors that I love. At the back of the deck, it has their most popular colors…the tried and true colors people always come back to. I love having my own color deck because even if the color goes away, I can still get a color match done. I need to look again at the Williamsburg deck…just makes you feel secure having your own deck, ya know? Like you can always still get the color, no matter what happens. 🙂

I will find the magazine article from Paula.

The color in my back hall and media room is Dash of Pepper. This area has less light in part of the back hall and just two windows in the media room and the color is so rich but not overwhelming at all! I kept the furniture light and the flooring is a Gunstock color…a bit reddish oak. I am in love with this color. It was in Paula’s bedroom.

My master bedroom is Branchport Brown. It was in the dining room at her home. It is a beautiful brown with red undertones that makes everyone look gorgeous!

Will get back to you on the rest…I did not want to keep you waiting! : )

          Debra

  12. Yes, I do love these colors….the whole design is wonderfully fluffy and cotton candy delightful! How did I miss those plates at Hobby Lobby? Darling! Thanks for oinviting us for a peak and for hosting us. Cherry Kay

  13. Marie did an amazing job. So fun and full of Easter! Love the little egg cups. They are gorgeous but sort of get lost in the shuffle of it all.
