I had another post planned for today, but I made the most awesome discovery yesterday that I had to share! I have long admired the beautiful designer, scallop, rattan pieces that I’ve been seeing online and in decor magazines, but I’ve always been put off by the prices. Just a simple ottoman was often well over $1,000, and larger pieces were $2,000 and up! Thankfully, someone has found a way to make these beautiful scallop designs for much more affordable prices!
I’m crazy about this scalloped ottoman! I wonder how it would look in front of the seating area in my office. Instead of being well over $1,000 like some of the previous designs I’ve seen in magazines, it’s only $192! Love that price! I also love that the cushion is removable, which means I could have it recovered with a different fabric if I ever wanted to use it in a different room. (Ottoman is available in three colors here: Scallop Rattan Ottoman in 3 Colors.)

I think it would also look great being in the same room with the lamp I just recently added to the console behind my desk. (Lamp is available here: Rattan Lamp.)

I love this chair! I’d love to find a spot for one here in the Dollhouse. You’ll find it available here: Scalloped Rattan Chair.

How cute is this Elephant end table! It would be perfect alongside a sofa, reading chair, or chaise. (Elephant table is available here: Elephant End Table.)

There are so many great designs, including this round ottoman/coffee table. It’s available here: Round Rattan Ottoman with Cushion.

I love so many pieces from this collection, including this mirror! What a statement this piece would make in a room! (Mirror is available here: Round Rattan Mirror.) This company also makes consoles, benches, and so many more beautiful pieces, including affordable burl wood furniture. You’ll find their online store here: Beautiful Rattan-Natural Furniture, Including Burl Wood Furniture.

WINNER, WINNER!! SCORE!!! Great for you!!! franki

Susan, I LOVE this ottoman!!! And I agree that it would look fabulous in your office with the newly added rattan shaded lamp. Hope you have ordered it! You always find the neatest things at wonderful prices. Thanks for sharing.
I did! Keeping my fingers crossed that it fits and works with the other table that I have between the chairs. Thanks, Sheryl!

I’m so happy for you to find furniture for much less….I shop around also because you can over pay if you don’t!!
So cute! I have not seen this trend, but naturally, you find it — and at great prices! These pieces would look so cute in your sunroom if you didn’t already have your table and chairs in there. Is there another spot in the office where you could fit that chair? That is just darling. And what about hanging the mirror above the console table? My first thought was that the ottoman would probably go well with that sort of washed table, so I hope you like it!
Oh that is a very nice collection, Susan. I REALLY love your rattan lamp – it’d go so nicely in my sister’s lake house. I will show her that – the size looks right. Many I have been looking at for her are just too short.
My childhood bedroom had a very similar elephant table. mine was white with a removable matching tray on top. I understand that an upward-arcing trunk is good luck. mine was downward-arcing like your picture, and maybe that was bad luck, because our puppy chewed the end of the trunk. Get the table, don’t get a puppy!
The ottoman is so cute, love the draping look of the sides. It might be more practical as a side piece, because the sides flare out, which might interfere with your feet.
