Some Of My Favorites—A Few Of These Would Make Great Gifts For Mother’s Day

I have grown to love this time of year when nature can’t make up its mind what season to be. lol The mornings are chilly with temps anywhere from the upper 40s to the mid 60s. Every morning is truly a surprise. Being a lover of warm weather, I eagerly watch the weather station in my office and kitchen, growing excited as I see the temps tick up. Sometimes I cheat and look at the Weather Bug app on my phone to see what the expected high for the day will be, but it’s more fun to watch the temps on the screened porch gradually increase digit by digit, guessing what they’ll be by noon and then again, by 3:00. I saw this beautiful sweater yesterday and thought what a wonderful transition piece it would be for spring. I would even wear this sweater during the summer months when dining out since restaurants can be so chilly.

Madras has always been a favorite of mine. Many years ago, I had a complete Ralph Lauren madras outfit—skirt and top. I loved it wore it often. Love this double-breasted, blazer-style sweater! It looks so sophisticated, like we should be getting ready to board our chartered yacht or perhaps a luxury cruise ship. 🙂 I bet it would look amazing with white slacks.
