Welcome to the 110th Tablescape Thursday!
Welcome to a very special week of Tablescape Thursday! I am sooo excited to share my table setting with you this week because tonight, I’m sharing beautiful dinnerware that is just about to make it’s debut! In just a few days, Sketch Floral will be available for purchase in retail stores, but you’re getting a little sneak preview here this evening!
I decided to keep the centerpiece very simple using all white candles and candlesticks. I took a ribbon and bow I have been saving for years…do you do that…save ribbon and bows? It was just the right length to fit around my candle centerpiece and the colors were perfect for my tablescape.
For my centerpiece, I took the base of the glass-domed server you saw used this table setting and I added white candles from Colonial Candle.
Even though it was early afternoon when these pics were taken, the autumn sun isn’t near as bright as the summer sun. If almost felt like evening time here on the porch. As it began to get darker, and I lit the candles. Long shadows fell across the porch.
As sunlight seeped away slowly from the porch, the candles grew brighter and brighter.
Centerpiece all aglow…
Photo with soup bowls…
Sooo romantic.
Pretty floral napkin rings work well with the floral Sketch Floral dishware.
Time to light the candles for a candlelight table setting on the porch.
This pattern has matching mugs…perfect for coffee, hot tea or cider after dinner…
A few evening candlelight pics…

Susan, so wonderful to be a part of this fun event each week. Thanks for encouraging people to visit. I try to do as many as I can and I have noticed that when the hostess encourages it, people are better about doing it. Your table is lovely as always. I especially am enchanted by those large ceramic "chargers/plates" They always accent everything. Have a great Thursday.
Well woohooo and congrats to Cherry Kay. It's nice when I *know* a winner. Couldn't have happened to a more gracious blogger.
Now, the new dishes… How pretty are they? Especially with the green stemware and vintage napkins, they make such a pretty table. I love how you chose the simple white candles for a centerpiece. I could do with a little simplicity on mine a time or two. LOL
As always, thanks so much for hosting this. I know that you put so much time into it,and I truly appreciate the chance to play with dishes and see others be creative as well!
Beautiful table, loved the napkins and the centerpiece, Thanks for hosting and sharing your wonderful talent.

Dearest Susan,
Quite a while ago that I had time to visit you, but glad I did catch you on your porch. Are there glass windows where the curtains are?
Looks rather nice with the color scheme you have chosen. Indeed, I too do save ribbons and bows, they always come in handy!
Rainy greetings from Georgia,

Hi Mariette…good to hear from you! No…always screens…no glass. 🙂
Very pretty, Susan. I love the way you tied the candles for the centerpiece. This reminds me of Spring, so light and delicate! The green glasses are perfect with this.

Love the delicate pattern — How fun to make it's Debut on your porch!
The simple white candles are the perfect centerpiece for that beautiful china – they don't upstage it but rather compliment. The pink SS napkin rings coordinate so well with the delicate pattern. As always, your porch looks very inviting and I'd love to be a guest at that table!
DD

OK…so I love the tablescape but for me it was missing 🙂 ONE thing…a luscious home-made fresh coconut cake. For some reason that is what I thought when I looked at it. The colors were so fresh and "spring-y" and fresh. Loved it!

Beautiful tablescape. If I lived at your house, I would stay on the porch all the time. I love that porch!!! Your milk glass candle holders are so pretty. And the new dishes are beautiful! You are certainly the tablescape Queen. You always have such beautiful picture and you have such a flare for putting things together. Enjoy the rest of your week. Love & blessings from NC!
Oh my goodness, I can't believe that I won the Mikasa Modern Butterfly. This is really fun! I can hardly wait to design a tablescape with my beautiful new dishes. Thank you for holding the give-away! The Sketchbook Floral really appeals to me, the artist. I can see this interpreted on walls and furniture. It's gorgeous…a gentle beauty. Your green goblets are the perfect shade for this table. Thank you for sharing this marvelous new design. Cherry Kay
Dear Susan,
today I am part of your party again after a long time. I always enjoy your tables and this one is so nice again. The Mikasa patterns are all lovely but I think at the end you would make a gorgeous table with every china. You have a special scill for that.
Congratulation to Cherry Kay for winning the give-away. Wish her a lot of fun with the new dishes.
Greetings, Johanna
What a beautiful table setting!
Love everything about it!
Hi Susan
What beautiful china and the napkin rings are lovely too. I like the way you have made three simple white candles looks so exquisite. I do not think anyone in the USA would like me to enter and win their give away as the postage would be so expensive, same if I bought the napkin rings. I have recently sent Bill at Affordable Accoutrements a gardening magazine and I couldn't believe the postage as printed paper across the pond. I don't mind an occasionally one if someone enjoys it, from Bills reply I think he enjoyed the British stamps with the Queen's head on it!!
Regards, Jackie in Surrey, UK.
Oh, how beautiful! Your tablescapes are always breathtaking and this one is no exception. I'm in love with your poch altogether!! I am so happy Cherry Kay was the winner, she is a dear blogging friend and definately deserves it.
Warm South African Blessings

This is so fun getting to see china that hasn't hit the market (yet) This new pattern is very pretty and your chargers really set it off. The white candles are perfect with the milkglass candle holders. Have you had them long or were they a recent find?
Thank you for the beautiful tablescape. I always love your ideas.
Mary

Sketch Floral is such a darling, dainty pattern. It almost looks like it was custom made to match the pillows on your swing; I noticed the pillows in the distance of one of your pics. The centerpiece is stunning. I save ribbons too.
All the Best,
Requi
Your tablescapes are always so pretty and I enjoy them so much. I scrutinize each photo so I can learn from your creativity.
Have a wonderful weekend! La
Wow! That is the most beautiful table! I love your porch too!
Hi Susan,
I linked up my beach tablescape to your party this week- but it is also a thank you for my first Feathered Nest party…let me know if it is not okay and I can remove it or you can remove it- I won't be offended! I guess I should probably post separate posts for the party b/c is seems there are parties I want to join but don't know if I can when advertising for my blog party! 🙂
Susan, You are so inspiring to all of us in so many ways. Your tablescapes are always lovely and do spark creativity in us wheither we respond to each week's party or not. You receive many comments but those that receive blessings that read and don't have a blog or take the time to comment are numerous I suspect.
I want to personally thank you again because it is such a blessing for me to meet new people when they visit my blog from your TT party and to visit others on my own. It has to be gratifying to have been from all over the world responding to Between Naps on the Porch.
I appreciate all the hard work and time you spend so faithfully each week!!!!
Susan
Found you on houzz. Thanks for the mention on my red dining room. So glad I found your blog, it's awesome!

Susan, the new dinnerware is lovely. It has a beautiful delicate touch and looks stunning on your porch setting. I like the hobnail milk glass as accents and the green stemware is an excellent compliment. Clever idea to use the cake stand for the trio of candles. ~ Sarah
