I love gardening books but my most favorite gardening books of all are the ones that combine gardening with interior design. The book I’m sharing today does this beautifully. It features the garden rooms of some of my fave designers, including Bunny Williams.
In the BNOTP Library: The Garden Room: Bringing Nature Indoors
Author: Timothy Mawson
Hardcover: 176 pages
Book size: 10.5 x 8 x 0.8
3 Things I Like About This Book:
- Loved the photography in this book. There are so many pictures (250+) and they feel intimate and real.
- There are 20 garden “rooms’ featured in this book and many belong to folks whose names you’ll recognize like Bunny Williams, David Easton, Bill Blass, Renny Reynolds, etc… I loved the feel and design of the rooms featured in the book.
- Lots of wonderful stories, definitely not your typical gardening book. The spaces/rooms shared in this book celebrate nature and are great examples of how we can incorporate a bit of nature into our everyday living.

This looks like a gorgeous book
In addition to decorating/interior design books, I love to collect the garden books…this looks like a great one and will have to add it to my “wish list” ….
Yet another book we have in common, Susan. It’s well done with a mix of illustrations and gorgeous photos.
Happy Weekend!
Sarah, that’s so cool how many of the same books we have! I love it, too. It’s not your everyday gardening book, is it?
