Welcome to the 783rd Tablescape Thursday. We are still nice and warm here. Are you seeing some autumn weather in your area, yet?
I almost set this table on the porch since the temps out were so nice, but it was so cloudy I decided to just stay inside.
Are you tired of seeing these two deer in my fall tables? lol
I found these guys many years ago in Lowe’s and still love pulling them out this time of year.
In this previous Valentine’s Day table, you can see that they have little green garlands around their neck. I almost removed those but at the last minute decided to leave them.
They helped hold the larger fall wreaths/garlands higher up and in place, so I ended up leaving them in place.
Welcome autumn!
Removing the acorn soup tureens, I couldn’t resist using these adorable deer/bird salad plates that were a find several years back in Pier 1.
I love, love, love this sweet scene–beautiful songbirds perched in the antlers of a lovely deer.
He doesn’t seem to mind providing a resting place for all his birdie friends. ♥
A view looking down minus the soup tureens…
Underneath the deer plates, you’ll find autumn-leaf dinner plates. I have the matching salad plates but wanted to mix it up a bit with the deer salad plates for today’s table.
Love these antler napkin rings, a gift from my friend, Linda, who loves touring old homes as much as I do.
Happy autumn!

Charming…and, I think I got a “little chill.” Those colors are so perfect…just a beautiful welcoming tablescape…”Hello Autumn!!” franki
Love the deer! Autumn is my favorite time of the year!
It is cool and beautiful here…but headed higher for the weekend. Our colors are really beginning to change…and we are picking up pumpkins and apples! The First Kiss apples this year were wonderful, like eating solid apple cider. That is the only way I can describe it….sweet, tart, loaded with intense apple flavor. Perfect! Happy Fall, Susan!
No not tired of the deer on your autumn table, love them and all the ways you accessorize them
It’s cool and cloudy here so your autumn table looks extra warm and cozy! Love the flatware next to the leafy dinner plates…great colors.
Love, love, love this table!!! I can almost smell the fall in the air (although it’s a long trip from So. California!) Love all your choices and the colors are superb! A beautiful fall tablescape. Thank you so much for sharing. It’s put me in the mood to get out my fall decorations!
Happy Autumn, Susan. Love your table and love this weather, very similar to yours!
Susan, l love your fall table setting! And I love the deer with the fall garland around their necks. Don’t stop using them – I never tire of deer!! Love your plate stack and precious little soup tureens. And the deer with antlers and birds salad plates are adorable and look great in this setting. Thanks for sharing!

Susan, what a beautiful fall tablescape you have set here! I love deer so I, for one, would never get tired of seeing them and all the beautiful ways you have styled them. The pier 1 plates are gorgeous – both the deer and the leaves. Happy autumn to you!
How I miss Pier One! I have the deer salad plates, but so regret not picking up the beautiful Asheville dishes when I had the chance. The leaves are such a brilliant color scheme! The answer to your question about the deer is a resounding NO! We are not tired of those lovely deer who come out to play in the sweetest of ways from time to time. You’ve created the perfect tablescape to welcome the fall season. Have a wonderful weekend!
Never tire of all the lovely ways you showcase the deer. The candle wreaths around their necks work out great for the changing seasons (I do that w/ the horse figures in our fox hunt room). Days are a bit cooler here most of the time, but we won’t see any real leaf color until the last week of October, so autumn decor has to work until then. Fall is my favorite season, so I am enjoying every moment of this too fleeting time–luckily, it is followed by Christmas, which comes in at a very close second lol! Happy fall!
A gorgeous fall table Susan! Love all the elements and this fun and beautiful dishes. Everything looks so cute and so fall ready. We have been cool due to rainy weather, but this coming week, we should be in the high 70’s. I ‘m so looking forward to that! I hope we don’t get cheated out of our fall as we usually have gorgeous fall weather, but Sept was below average with our temps. Enjoy your weather! Hugs, Brenda
Lovely display. Love those deer.
