Welcome to the 183rd Tablescape Thursday!
Each year my friend, Bonnie creates the most wonderful table setting for the evening of the Academy Awards. I can hardly wait to see what she is going to do each year!
This year Bonnie placed her tablescape where the action was…on the front row. You don’t mind rubbing elbows with Meryl and George, do you?
I love the “theater lighting.” Such a great atmosphere for this star-studded night.
Great tablecloth! The deep blue and gold is such a rich, dramatic look for our night at the Oscars.
This table setting is all about glitz and “Star” power.
The “Starry, Starry Night” plates are soooo perfect! I always love how Bonnie carries a theme out, even down to votive holders with their starry motif.
The gold-plated flatware really works with this glamorous theme.
Bonnie Photoshopped each guest’s likeness onto an Oscar winner’s body. I know they loved that! Everyone was a star…at least for the night. 😉
Love, love, love all the details.
Bonnie, thanks so much for inviting us into your home for another delightful Oscars event.
You can see Bonnie’s Academy Awards table from last year, HERE. It’s just as glamorous and fabulous as this one!

I LOVE it. I mentioned before when you did your movie night table setting recently that I’ve been collecting ideas for an Oscar Party that my husband and I would eventually like to give, so these pictures are definitely going to be bookmarked. I love all the details. Thank you for sharing the setting. The photoshopping for the place cards shows how much planning went into this setting. It put the special into a special occasion. I will definitely link my husband to this post. So much inspiration. I will stop gushing now. LOL! Eldarose from http://RE-inventedstyle.blogspot.com
I love the tablescape. It is warm and cozy.
This is fantastic! I feel like such a loser, though – I did not even watch the show! However, I was really impressed with the “Oscar” – it is amazing what one can find on eBay!

I love the cobalt blue coloring it’s perfect with the gold! I watched the whole show and texted to my sisters and daughter throughout the program. I enjoy the Oscars the most of all the award shows! 5 stars to this one!
