Welcome to the 136th Tablescape Thursday!
Rain, rain, go AWAY. Come again another day. On second thought, don’t come back for a few weeks. We are water logged here in Georgia. How is it in your part of the country?
I am seriously craving some sunshine. Fortunately, my friend, Cornelia sent some all the way from Switzerland via a lovely table setting. Welcome to Cornelia’s beautiful dining room.
She has the table all ready for us.
You may sit wherever your heart desires.
The tablecloth Cornelia used for this table setting is custom made and is made from the same material as the lining of her draperies. The napkins are vintage.
The salad plate is by Herend/Osier.
The dinner plate is Saxon Flower by Royal Copenhagen. All the china is beautifully hand-painted.
The bread plate is by Nymphenburg.
The glasses are by Baccarat/France and the colored glasses are vintage and come from Bohemia.
The vintage glasses are all hand-cut crystal.
The cutlery is silver by Jezler/Switzerland. The pattern is called “La Reine” / The Queen.
The tulips are Parrot tulips and the vase is Meissen.
Sooopretty! A little sunshine on this cloudy day. π
The figurines are all hand-made and hand-painted and come from Germany/Erzgebirge.
They are called “Flower Children” and are a symbol for spring. How cute are they!
A little candle light for our dinner…
Cornelia, thanks so much for having us into your lovely home. Everything was just magical!
Looking forward to viewing your beautiful tablescapes!

Susan,
Your friend Cornelia has set an exquisite table for us on your behalf. Please be sure to thank her for all of us! I admire how she placed the tulips at one end of the table so we could visit during dinner without an obstructed view, so thoughtful of her! Thank you for hosting this weekly meme. My participation is something I anticipate with great excitement!
Fondly,
Pat

What a great dining room! I love the china. It's similar to my great grandmother's china. Beautiful tablescape!
I have lived in Europe and Cornelia's dining room takes me back. It is just that beautiful and I can assure you that if she were having a dinner that night it would be as wonderful and full of laughter and conversation as her table is ready to receive it's guests. Truly a delightful opening to my day.Thank you!

I just love Cornelia's tall green goblets and the vase for the tulips. So pretty. Thanks for the wonderful party each week, I know it takes a lot of work and especially trying to visit those who posted takes a lot of time. It is always soooo fun.

This is just amazing! The whole presentation is beautiful, but the cut glass wear and that vase is simply to die for. This is my favorite blog linky part. If I don't have something I visit anyway. I look forward to it every week. Thank-you so much, it's very inspiring.
