Adorable Bunnies, New Outdoor Porch Lamp, Fave Stanley Straw Topper & More

When I first began this post last night, this dress was back in stock in two sizes. Now it’s only in stock in one size. It keeps selling out as soon as they get more in. Hopefully, it will be restocked since it’s been so popular, but you can see the size(s) it’s available in now here: Beautiful Eyelet Shift Dress.

Beautiful top and in the same design as the dress above. Love the color! ♥ You’ll find it available here: Beautiful Eyelet Top.

Beautiful Eyelet Top, Looks great dressed up or with jeans

If you are a Stanley tumbler fan and use straw toppers for your Stanley straw, after trying quite a few different types, this big, beautiful bow is my absolute favorite. The design makes it so much easier to remove the topper when you’re ready for a sip than the standard straw toppers with the little skinny loop things. I like this straw topper so much, I’ve ordered it in several more colors for my other tumblers.

Cutest Stanley Straw Topper Ever

I’ve also ordered a 3-pack of just the pink ones since that seems to be my favorite color for Stanley tumblers. You’ll find this cleverly designed straw topper here: Bow Straw Topper, Perfect for Stanley Tumber. If you especially love it in pink, as I do, you’ll find all pink bows here: Pink Bow Straw Topper for Stanley.

Best Straw Topper for Stanley Tumbler, So cute

If you’ve been reading BNOTP for a while, you know how I sing the praises of Cutemol lotion. It is by far the best I’ve ever found for dry skin, especially on heels and hands/fingertips. It’s the only thing that keeps my fingertips from spliting during the wintertime. (Cutemol lotion is available here: Cutemol Lotion.)

I’ve been trying to find the perfect dispenser for this super-rich/thick lotion, and I think I’ve finally found it. This dispenser works via vacuum and is perfect for dispensing thick Cutemol. I keep one of the dispensers on my desk, and the other one is in the kitchen near the sink. This is such a genius way to dispense any lotion, especially for thick lotions like Cutemol. You’ll find this amazing dispenser available here: Airless Pump-Vacuum Dispenser for Cream and Thick Lotions.

Great Dispenser for Thick Lotions

I just ordered these critters today. I saw them a few weeks back and should not have procrastinated. They won’t arrive before Easter, but I don’t mind since I plan to keep them out all spring and possibly into summer.

The set comes with two bunnies and three eggs, all in different sizes.

I love rattan pieces, as you know. (Lamp is available here: Rattan Lamp.)

The lamp above and the ottoman below are both in my study in the Dollhouse in Ohio.

Scalloped Rattan Ottoman, Beautiful

LOVE this ottoman! I love the texture and interest it adds to my study. It feels like it grounds the space, if you know what I mean. (Ottoman is available here: Rattan Ottoman.)

Anyway, these cute bunnies should fit right in with my other rattan pieces. You’ll find this set available here: Rattan Bunnies with Eggs, 5-Piece Set.

If you prefer white rattan/wicker, these are currently on sale here: Woven White Wicker-Style Bunnies. I’m super tempted to order them; I love the white, too!

Such a cute bowl to display fruit or other goodies during the spring and summer! Love the design, and it’s on sale for more than half off here: Rustic Bunny Stoneware Serving Bowl.

Another beautiful bunny for your spring table or spring decor. You’ll find this beautiful bunny by Lennox available here: Lenox Bunny Vase in Wicker Design.

A New Lamp For The Porch: Over the years, I’ve had quite a few lamps out here on the porch. The lamp thats on the table near the screening is the one that needs to be replaced from time to time since it takes the brunt of the weather.

Build a Screened Porch

This lamp, designed for outdoor use, is the lamp that I’ve been using for the past few years on that table. Unfortunately, the narrow plastic part that weaves in and out of the faux vinyl wicker pieces has started crumbling apart. Every time I touch the shade, sections of it break away onto the table.

The “wicker” floor lamp (made in the same way) that I had over behind the swing did the same thing. I kept finding pieces of it all on the porch floor, so I had to dispose of it a few months back. They lasted quite a few years, I’m guessing around 8+, but I don’t think they are still being made now.

A few days ago, I was looking at porch lamps online and saw this one. It was once available at Home Depot for $133.74, but it is now showing as Out-of-Stock. I lucked out and found it on eBay for half that price! I purchased two, one for now and one as a backup for the future. The two I purchased came out to be less than one would have been when they were available at Home Depot, so not a bad deal!

Outdoor Lamps, Perfect for Porch

The seller must have shipped them immediately; I ordered them on March 24th, and they arrived yesterday, March 27th. That’s as fast as Amazon! They arrived in their original sealed boxes, just as they would have been when they were available in the store. They work great; I’ve already tested both.   If you could use an outdoor lamp for your porch, I noticed the seller still has some left. You’ll find those available here: Outdoor Table Lamp. I’ll share how mine look on the porch on Monday for Metamorphosis Monday, but I wanted to share this now in case they sell out, since we are entering porch season.

A few more lovelies that I’m crushing on: Crazy about this beautiful pillow cover! The fabric looks beautiful in the photos, and it’s reasonably priced for a beautiful cover with piping. I need to find a place for one or two of these in my home—love the color and the gingham design! You’ll find it available here: Blue and White Gingham Pillow Cover.

Another one that I love from the same company.

Love that lattice design, and I love that both pillow covers have contrast piping around the edge. It’s that little detail that makes these pillows feel custom, like you ordered them through a designer. You’ll find this beautiful lattice-designed pillow cover, also reasonably priced, here: Beautiful Garden Lattice Pillow Cover with Blue Piping.

Heading to the beach this summer? Here’s a great way to store those wet bathing suits if you are making a quick change of clothing before heading out to dinner. This bag is available in a bunch of different designs, so many cute ones! You’ll find it available here: Swimsuit Wet/Dry Bag.

Hope you are seeing lots of beautiful sunshine and some warming temps! It’s chill here in the mornings, but beautiful as the day warms up. Love spring so much, despite the yellow stuff that’s covering everything! Ha!

  1. Great deal on the lamps, Susan. And I love the idea of a wet / dry bag. Genius. And it comes in so many cute colors and patterns. The bunnies are all adorable. Great post. Thanks!

  2. Love those lamps; great find! And those liquid pumps are going to be so useful. Thanks for the super tip!

Oh what a fabulous find with the new wicker lamps to replace yours. I bought that older wicker lamp years ago when you linked it and it still is holding up. It is tucked in a back corner of my covered area “zen room” and gets covered up in the winter. So it is fairly protected. Your new one looks amazing. And I love that light blue and white gingham pillow. And I am a huge fan of your wicker lamp you’ve had a while. I’d love my sister to buy that for her lake house, but can’t talk her into doing so. Anyway, have a blessed Easter week. Hugs.

    • Unfortunately mine were near the edge of the porch so they weren’t very protected. I didn’t think they really needed protection since they are designed for outdoors but obviously they did. They lasted a long time, so I know yours is going to last a long time since it’s in a more protected area. I think it might have been the temperature changes that affected mine as well.

  4. What a happy Spring post. I just bought the pink eyelet top (I had a $40 off coupon – huzzah!). Thanks for featuring that!!

The rattan bunnies/eggs were gone by the time I looked – that’s probably a good thing for my pocketbook. Your “favorites/things on sale/etc.” posts are so helpful and I know I’m not the only one who thinks so.

  5. It appears spring has arrived at your home. So many pretties. I love rabbits. I am curious why you didn’t just replace the crumbling lamp shades. Please say you kept the bird finials for the lovely replacement. We have pollen, but I haven’t seen the yellow snow on everything. We seemed to have moved to summer already. It’s 86° today.

    • They aren’t like normal shades, they are designed where they are part of the lamp itself. The mechanism that holds them on the lamp is kind of built into the lamp. It’s hard to explain but you would have to have the exact same lamp again to be able to use the same shade. I did save the bird finial when I disposed of the floor standing lamp when it fell apart. But the way it screws on, I’m not sure it can be used on any other lamp.

Loved everything in this post! Be careful when pieces break off from the lamps on the porch that the Kitties don’t try to eat them! Not good!

Love everything! Just wanted to ask about the link for the 5-piece bunny set. The Amazon link takes me to a bunny set that’s only available in gold or silver. Does that mean the rattan is sold out or could it be the incorrect link? Thanks in advance!

Thanks for sharing this cool trellis pillow, Susan! I’ve been looking for a way to add touches of green to my blue and white family room and this price is so much better than the $95 versions I’ve been eyeing. I recognize the vendor in the video from Instagram, her account is ClassicallyJill and she’s a military spouse from Virginia who is enjoying decorating their forever home.

I'd love to hear from you! Please leave a comment!
