Welcome to the 431st Tablescape Thursday!
For this week’s Tablescape Thursday, I’m so excited to share the beautiful Christmas table setting Marie has created in her dining room.
The dining room is located under the wonderful children’s bedroom we toured yesterday, so it also has the turret space. Such a perfect spot for this gorgeous Christmas tree!
Marie has a lovely nativity snowglobe collection displayed on a nearby chest.
Marie created a pretty centerpiece with Mercury glass trees and festive candles.
The chair backs are decorated with green velvet ribbon and greenery. Wish I had thought to get a photo of the greenery, you’ll be able to see it a bit better in the last photo of this post.
Her dishware is one of my favorites, Holiday by Lenox. The salad plate is Lenox’s 2016 Accent plate featuring a vintage biplane decorated with the holly design seen on the Holiday china. The plane is filled with presents, so cute!
Marie found her glassware in Pier 1 several years ago.
You’ll find this whimsical accent plate available here: Lenox Holiday Accent Plate, 2016. The Lenox Holiday dishware is available here: Lenox Holiday.
The host and hostess chairs were decked out in whimsical Christmas stockings. Marie found these in Pier 1 many years ago. So fun!
Thanks so much to Marie for sharing this beautiful holiday table with us for Tablescape Thursday!
Looking forward to the beautiful table settings shared for this week’s Tablescape Thursday!

You’ll need to include a link in your post back to the party to link up and participate.
That’s so visitors to your blog will be able to find the party and the other Tablescape Thursday participants. Requiring a link back also prevents businesses and scammers from linking up to sell their products. (Yes, that really happens, unfortunately.)
I love the elegance and coziness of this setting. Those biplane salad plates are adorable! Wishing you and your family a very merry Christmas and a happy new year!

What a terrific table Marie has set! The dishware works so well with the centerpiece and that snowglobe collection is wonderful. Thank you so much Susan for all your efforts in hosting TT each week and especially at this busy time of year! I have loved this friendly and inspirational get-together ever since you first started it. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and all the best for 2017!
Susan, thank you so much for hosting! I hope that you and your family have a very Merry Christmas!!!
Beautiful table, and I love that chandelier! Thank you, Susan and Marie, for sharing it and Merry Christmas!
LOVEly!! I’m at pier 1 right now ☺
🙂 Happy shopping, Franki!
I love Marie’s tablescape! Being a pilot the biplane plates made me smile! I owned a cute little biplane very similar to this years ago. I have a feeling I will be adding those to my Lenox collection very soon! Merry Christmas Susan and Marie!

Smashing Plates
I loved those plates, too! Technically, shouldn’t the presents be in the front since biplanes are piloted from the back? I just saw the movie Sully (such a good movie!) a few days before seeing Marie’s table and I couldn’t help but wonder if these plates will be on his Christmas table this year?
Catherine, do you still fly? I took flying lessons as a sophomore in college and soloed quite a few times, even did a cross country with my instructor landing on a grass strip, which was a wonderful experience. When I went to Africa last year, we landed on a grass strip out in the bush and it brought back a lot of memories.
Yes, technically they should be in the front as most biplanes are flown from the aft seat, but you can also fly from the front seat. My Christen Eagle biplane had dual controls and I have flown several times from the front seat, but the back seat was much easier for takeoff and landing since it’s a tail dragger. I’m happy to know you are also a “lady of the wind”. I’ve landed several times on grass strips and it’s always one exciting, bumpy ride at times. Very rough on a nose gear strut. I flew commercially for several years and I’m still in aviation here in Fort Lauderdale. I run the charter department for small airline and we have 30 seat commuter jets. We are busy now flying ACC – SEC NCAA college basketball teams around the US. I will rest once March Madness is over. Merry Christmas Susan.
Just out of curiosity…how many people help getting this home ready for xmas because I just don’t think one person can do all this decorating.
Marie starts very early and she has help with the larger decorations. She does much of it on her own, though.
Wouldn’t it just be too wonderful to be able to sit down to Christmas dinner at that table with Marie and her guests! It would have to be “the best ever” since Marie does everything with such style. I love the biplane salad plates. So cute! Thanks for sharing!
My husband can fly and he will love these dishes! Merry Christmas to you and yours!
Thanks Susan and Marie, for sharing this tablescape. Those biplane plates are making everyone smile today!
What a gorgeous table and such sweet & unusual plates! Haven’t joined in here in quite a while. Have to change that for the New Year. Thanks!
Merry Christmas! Pam
She always puts on a pretty table! I enjoy looking at the architectural details of their home- truly wonderful! I didn’t do a tablescape- just cruisin in low gear here. Merry Christmas Susan!
I forgot to also say that I adore the Christmas tree and that turret space it sets in!
Looooove the biplanes. What a wonderful Christmas table idea, and a bit out of the ordinary. Beautiful!
Thanks so much Susan, for photographing and sharing!
I think Marie’s flatware is pretty. Could you find out what brand/style it is and where she purchased it please?
Merry Christmas, Susan, and thanks for the joy you bring us all year. Hope your holidays are wonderful.
Susan, thanks so much for hosting fabulous parties each week. May your Christmas be merry and bright!
Ho, ho, ho!!! So, the joy continues…I am so happy from the bedroom post, and the trees, all those dolls, figures and decorating. Now this has just pushed me over the edge. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! TFS to you and Marie.
Another beautiful table at Marie’s home. Aren’t we lucky that you are friends!
I’m sharing my niece’s home that includes a small tablescape.
Everything is lovely and elegant. Thanks for sharing. Wishing you and yours a Merry Christmas and a 2017 of full of blessings.

I always love seeing her home at Christmas and I so remember those cute elf stocking feet on the chair legs!…Adorable! Merry Christmas to you and your family Susan!!!
I see that Marie likes snow globes. Me too and they are all around the house this time of year. Merry Christmas to you and yours, Susan.
Beautiful and over the top as usual. I must share those adorable biplane plates with my great niece and her husband who is a pilot! I’m so glad you are such a good friend of Marie’s and she lets you share her talent with us. Merry Christmas and God’s blessings to you and your family for a wonderful 2017. Vikki in VA
