Welcome to the 194th Tablescape Thursday!
Greetings my tablescape loving friends! For this week’s Tablescape Thursday, I’m sharing some of the wonderful settings linked for last’s weeks party. Each time I do this, it is always so hard choosing which ones to feature because they are all so wonderful! This week was no different. Here’s a small sampling of just some of the beautiful tablescapes I enjoyed viewing last week.
I love trains! When I’m stuck waiting at a railroad crossing, I always roll down the window to hear the sounds and the power of the train as it passes by…such a thrill! Have you ever wondered what dining on a train would be like? In honor of National Train Day, So Many Tables shares some wonderful memories of dining while traveling on a train .

You’ll need to include a link in your post back to the party in order to link up and participate. That’s so visitors to your blog will be able to find the party and the other Tablescape Thursday participants.
If you would like to use the Tablescape Thursday logo button in your post, just copy and paste it to your computer and upload it to your post as you would any photo.
Please, don’t add your post name/blog name ALL IN CAPS…it tends to create big spaces between the rows of links. Thanks!
Let’s try something fun today! Please visit the person who linked before you and after you…that way everyone will get some visits. Hope you’ll visit more, of course.
Welcome! Thanks for coming to the party!
Such fabulous features! Imagine dining in each of those settings, how fun! I’ve linked the “new” table my daughter bought me for Mothers Day – she came across it at a yard sale on Sunday afternoon and knew I would love it, and I do! Thanks for hostessing the party. Hugs ~ Mary
Oh I’ve always dreamed of sitting on a train and dining! The movies always made it look like fun!
I also love to hear and feel the power of a train!
Those are some great posts you’ve chosen!
Hi Susan,
You really right to moderate your comments. There are so many mean bloggers that hurt us. Though, we all are here for same reasons.
But, anyways, I love coming in your party and it is much appreciated in any ways. I earn lots of tips and ideas from your readers that I always brought me home.
Thursdays is always a Joy (for me, anyway).
Happy TS to you and all your readers.
Greetings from Stockholm,

I love your tablescape Thursdays- it’s such an inspiration and I always adore your table settings .We proably share a huge love for beautiful crockery !I just need to win the lottery to be able to get all the dinner services I love- and… I need more cupboards! My link is loosely related to table scaping – and I hope you don’t mind that..:-) It’s about how we as bloggers like to show all the beautiful things and how our blogs are our happy place but that this may make other bloggers sometimes feel that they are not that prefect- and that nobody as, and that this is not a reason to feel bad about yourself!! Have a great Thursday Susan! XOXO Bea
Hi Susan, I am a train girl too. There is something so romantic and fun about riding on a train and letting the scenery pass you by!
Thanks for hosting TT. I was up and on my computer early and was so happy to see TT was already up!
Thanks so much again!
Susan~ I’m honored to be included among these featured tables! Thanks so much for sharing my Grandmother’s Flower Garden! Thanks for having me again this week 🙂
What great features from last week! Thanks for hosting.
Susan, On Thursdays, I spend from 10 am – 12 noon looking through all the lovely tablescapes your followers submit. It’s so much fun to see how creative they are. The train tablescape brought back some great memories of an Amtrak trip I took from Charlotte, NC to Spokane, WA. The northern route of the trip followed the Canadian border and had a dining car where we ate all of our meals. It was so elegant each and every meal. I felt like I had stepped back in time. By far the best trip I’ve ever taken!
Each Thursday morning, I link my post to Tablescape Thursday and then read your post. Imagine my delight when I found a link to my tablescape featured this week. Thank you so much! I love to explore the many creative designs found on Tablescaper Thursday each week. So many amazingly talented participants…I learn something new from each one. Thanks for hosting us each week…the inspiration found here is phenomenal. Cherry Kay
Such beautiful features, Suan! So much inspiration. Thanks…Christine

Hi Susan,
I feel so honored to be featured here on your blog. Thank you.
I’m off doing some traveling so no new tablescapes for me the rest of May.
Have a wonderful rest of the week and weekend!
Thanks for the party! I enjoyed seeing your features, because I do not always get around to them all before it is TT again.
I missed the train one, but I am going back to look. I have such great memories of riding the Southerner Crescent from Anniston, AL to New Orleans many times as a very young woman. The dining car was just the best: I remember the smell of the coffee, the starchy white table settings with silver service and the charming gentlemen in crisp white jackets and black tuxedo pants who served the food. I mainly remember their fried chicken and blackberry cobbler and fluffy biscuits. It was an all-day trip, but it was never boring.
Susan, each of these tables is lovely. Like you said, there are so many fabulous tables each week. Makes me want to dine at each one. TT is still one of my favorite places to visit each week. Thanks for hosting! ~ Sarah
Oh, my gosh. I was thrilled, just thrilled, to find out you noticed my blog entry. I came late to the party (as usual) this week and when I saw the title of this Thursday’s post, I thought, “Oh someone else made a train tablescape. What a coincidence that they, too, rode on the Daylight.”
Thank you so much for noticing my contribution to your party, especially with so many beautiful posts from which to pick.
Whether or not I have a table to share, I always look forward to coming here on a Thursday.
Denise
Thanks so much for hosting, Susan. These are all so pretty and fun to look at. Isn’t it wonderful to see so many tables with fresh flowers right from the garden, or lovely tables set up outdoors? Spring is really here!
Susan, Thanks for a wonderful start to each Thursday morning. Beauty abounds on your blog and your tutorials are great.
