Welcome to the 927th Tablescape Thursday! I so wish I were in Georgia today…

…where lives this wonderful flag dinnerware that I love using for patriotic holidays like the 4th of July.

But since I’m not there to set a patriotic table, I have the next best thing.

A few weeks back, my friend Teresa happened to come across an event at her local clubhouse. She captured some great pictures of the tables on display that day, including this beautiful patriotic red, white, and blue tablescape.

They beautifully showcased the theme of their table with the floral centerpiece.

Love the napkins and the table cloth/table topper!

Simple white plates look amazing against star-spangled charger plates.

Thanks so much to Teresa for taking so many wonderful photos during this event that was hosted by the Houston members of the Society For The Advancement of Floral Design. Happy 4th of July; it’s almost here!

If you are participating in Tablescape Thursday, please be sure to add your permalink below, and not your general blog address. To get your permalink, click on your post name, then copy and paste the address showing in the address bar, into the “url” box when you link up. You’ll need to include a link in your post back to the party to link up and participate. That’s so visitors to your blog will be able to find the party and the other Tablescape Thursday participants. Requiring a link back also prevents businesses and scammers from linking up to sell their products. Please, don’t add your post name/blog name ALL IN CAPS…it tends to create big spaces between the rows of links. Please do not link up table settings that were just recently shared in the last few weeks for Tablescape Thursday.

Happy Independence Day, Susan! And same to all your readers. What a festive table – so patriotic. I especially love the red, white and blue flowers. Thank you, Teresa, for sharing all the lovely tablescapes. Here’s hoping that everyone has a wonderful, thankful and safe 4th of July.
The floral design event looks wonderful! I’m so happy that Teresa got to go, take pictures, and share them with us – I’m so inspired! Thanks to you too for sharing and hosting. Even though you don’t get to use the patriotic plates, I hope you have a fabulous celebration with your family. Take care till next time!
