Welcome to the 778th Metamorphosis Monday! Merry Christmas! Just popping in on Christmas morning to share a cute idea for breakfast/brunch for the little ones on Christmas Day, or really any time of the year. I made these cute reindeer pancakes for my grandsons this morning and they loved them!
They are super easy to make–just make one large pancake for the head, a medium side pancake to go on top to get a 3-D effect for the snout, and then 2 small pancakes for the ears. Bacon makes cute antlers and banana slices with blueberries work great for the eyes.
A big dollop of whipped topping along with a red, ripe strawberry is perfect for Rudolph’s nose. It’s funny how each reindeer came out a little different with its own personality. I think the one on the left is a boy reindeer, while the one on the right looks more like a girl. I bet we could come up with a way to add a little bow to the top of the head for the girl–maybe some additional whipped topping in the shape of a bow.
I hope you have a wonderful Christmas Day filled with lots of love and great food! Looking forward to all the awesome Before and Afters linked for this week’s Met Monday!
