My Favorite Black Friday Sales

I don’t think I’ve ever been more excited for a Black Friday than I am today. The sales are pretty much the best you’ll find throughout the year, and I love that I can stay at home in my PJs and still take advantage of all the best deals!

Noritake is having their BIGGEST sale of the year with everything sitewide at 30-50% off!

These beautiful Christmas accent plates are on sale 30% off. They would set an elegant Christmas table used either as a salad or dessert plate in a Christmas table setting. They are currently on sale here: Christmas plates.

Love this beautiful Holly Berry china! Imagine setting the table with this on Christmas Day! It’s currently on sale 50% off for Black Friday! You’ll find it here: Holly Berry for Christmas.

Talbots Sale

Talbots is having a big sale for Black Friday. It includes 50% off any one item on the site and 40% off sitewide. These pieces caught my eye and are currently in my cart. (Click any item name to access that item.)

Puffer Vest

Tartan Plaid Cape

Reindeer Fair Isle Sweater

Pretty Winter Cardigan

The Perfect Shirt

You may remember the polka-dot shirt  I loved so much, I purchased at Talbots not once, but twice.

I’ve never gotten as many compliments as when wearing this shirt! It looks great with black slacks or jeans and a cardigan. It’s still a go-to piece in my wardrobe.

White & Navy Polka Dot Shirt with Orange Cardigan Sweater, Navy Jeggings

Talbots has brought it back in a long-sleeve version for winter and they are calling it “The Perfect Shirt.” I couldn’t agree more! I’m guessing they named it that because it goes with almost any color sweater or cardigan and adds a sophisticated punch to every outfit. I think I need this long-sleeve version in my wardrobe for winter. It’s on sale here: The Perfect Shirt.

A few more items I’m eyeing for Black Friday…

Love this popcorn sweater available in 7 colors including a gorgeous red. It on sale 40% off with the code Together here: Sweater.

Iconic L.L. Bean Boots

Have you always wanted a pair of L.L. Bean’s iconic duck boots? They virtually never go on sale but today only they are on sale for Black Friday at 25% off! That’s epic! See all their boots here: Boots.

Years ago I purchased this style because they are effortless to put on…no laces to deal with…you just slip into them. This style sold out very quickly when they first came out. I ended up having to call a lot of stores that day before I finally found a store in Missouri that had them in stock and was willing to ship them to me.

I love the shearling lining because it’s super warm!

And from this photo, it looks like they’ve stepped up the shearling lining and made it even more plush. You’ll find this boot on sale today 25% off here: L.L. Bean Boot.  Don’t forget to use the code BOOT25 to get their Black Friday discount.

While you’re there, check out the outdoor clothing and coats, they are 20% off right now with the code Thanks20.

Brook Brothers Men’s Shirt Sale

Have a guy in your life who could use some new dress shirts for work? Brook Brothers has them all on sale right now. I just purchased 4 for my son, he loves their Milano Slim-fit Non-Iron shirts. You’ll find the sale here: Dress Shirts.

I’m off to shop the sales! If I come across any other awesome “shouldn’t-be-missed” Black Friday sales, I’ll add them to the end of this post. Happy Black Friday shopping in your PJs today!

  1. Fashion tip question: is the green cardigan, over the polka-dot blouse, also 3/4 sleeve? Thanks

    • When I bought it, the shirt was only available in 3/4 sleeve for spring/summer. The green cardigan was also 3/4 sleeve so they worked great together. The shirt they have available now is long sleeves, so that’s perfect to go with a long sleeve cardigan for fall/winter. I wonder what colors they have their cardigans in for winter?

  2. Just checked out with my Talbots cart! New jeggings, blazer and socks to build my capsule wardrobe. I am bound and determined to purge clothes I don’t wear and keep a capsule wardrobe. This is so much better than trying to fight crowds and ultimately being disappointed with what’s not available out there!

  3. Terri Santiago says

Iam ordering the Bean boots, did you size up or down on these? Or stay true to size?

    • They run a tiny bit big but that was perfect for me because I always wear my boots with pretty thick socks. I think that’s why they were size a tiny bit bigger…to allow for winter socks. So I would buy them in your regular size, then if they turn out to be bigger than you like, L.L. Bean is awesome about exchanging items. Their customer service is always amazing! Also, if you do end up having to exchange them, the price wouldn’t change since you bought them during the sale. But I think you’ll be fine with your normal size…that’s what I went with when I bought mine.

      • Regality (aka The Quing) says

I like the looks of the LLB boots, but I’m old enough to remember when we wore our boots over our shoes, which is why we called them…get ready for it…overshoes. Now I think that the definition of overshoes has narrowed down to what we called, in my part of the country, galoshes.

Since I am old, I still prefer boots that go over shoes, because my feet get so cold. Two pairs of thick socks just aren’t warm enough.

The Brooks Bros. non-iron shirts are the best. They launder up perfectly and they have a cream color that we can’t get anywhere else, no matter what the price.

        • I remember galoshes, I think they still make those now, seems like I’ve seen them online. I find the duck boots are a lot warmer than a leather boot, especially the ones that have the shearling lining. Love those for winter!

  4. Oh my gosh, I looove that cape! So cute and so perfect for winter.

But seriously, Susan, you have so many clothes, I don’t know when you get a chance to wear them all! Haha. So fun ‘shopping’ with you though. Thanks for the tip about the cape.

    • I wear them every day during the winter, I brought a lot of them with me on this trip to Ohio. That’s the only thing that gets me through my least favorite season (winter) is all the great clothes, especially the sweaters, scarves, wooly socks and boots. I live in them during the winter!

  5. I saw both the polar bear sweater and the cardigan sweater in the store, and they were super cute. I bought the gold polka dot shirt earlier this week. It needs to be ironed from the wrong side, and can not be dry cleaned, so it is rather high maintenance.

    • I saw the gold metallic polka dot earlier and was tempted. It is really cute! Good to know about the ironing. I always wash my shirts by hand, so that parts okay.

  6. Cyndi Raines says

Those boots are very tempting, especially with 25% off! What a deal! But I already have 2 good pair of winter boots, probably should pass on it but hate to,ha! Really cute clothes! Love the vest and the cape!

    • I love boots, too…sooo warm in the winter. I’ve really gotten into vests this year, love layering them over a t-shirt and sweater. Hope you are staying warm, Cyndi. The temps have been really nice here, we’ve been out taking long, long walks through all the neighborhoods, love seeing all the beautiful homes.

I'd love to hear from you! Please leave a comment!
