What I Bought For 50% Off In Williams Sonoma & Going Back For The Napkin Rings

Beaded Beach themed napkin rings on sale

Welcome to the 918th Tablescape Thursday! Yesterday, I stopped by Williams Sonoma and Pottery Barn to check out their spring/summer offerings. This adorable bunny pitcher caught my eye. He was on sale, 50% off! He looks kinda small in my photo, but he's actually a good size. He measures 7 inches wide and almost 9 inches tall. I filled him with water last night to see how much he holds, and he held 48 ozs. He actually holds 54 oz when filled to the very top.  Bunnies … [Continue Reading...]

My 6 Travel Essentials: I Can’t Leave On A Trip Without Taking These Along

All this glorious sunshine I'm seeing these days has me thinking a lot lately about summer travel. Do you have any spring or summer trips planned? When I first started traveling, most of my trips were abroad. I'm not traveling now as much as I used to, but in the future, I would love to see more of the U.S. In today's post, I'm sharing those must-have pieces that I always take when I travel, including this handbag that saved me so many hours of work a few years … [Continue Reading...]

Welcome to the 900th Metamorphosis Monday party! I have quite a few random Before and Afters to share today, plus some fun info that I hope you'll find helpful. Recently, I purchased three additional Ring Camera Floodlights for the house in Georgia. I went with the same ones I have in Ohio since they work so well and have great reviews. Some Of My Favorites—A Few Of These Would Make Great Gifts For Mother’s Day

I have grown to love this time of year when nature can't make up its mind what season to be. lol The mornings are chilly with temps anywhere from the upper 40s to the mid 60s. Every morning is truly a surprise. Being a lover of warm weather, I eagerly watch the weather station in my office and kitchen, growing excited as I see the temps tick up. Sometimes I cheat and look at the Weather Bug app on my phone to see what the expected high for the day will be, but it's … [Continue Reading...]

Spring Has Sprung & The Bees Are Buzzing

Spring Bunny Glasses in Spring Tablescape

Welcome to the 917th Tablescape Thursday! We are out on the porch this week—it has been way too pretty out to stay inside! The trees have all leafed out—love that spring green color!   I had some furry company while I was setting the table. After I finished setting the table and had taken some photos, I went upstairs for a bit.   When I came back down, I found Miss Bea had discovered the hydrangea napkin rings and had fallen madly in … [Continue Reading...]

An Update For The Cabinets In The Basement Work Room

I've been a whirlwind of activity this spring since arriving back in Georgia. It must be the beautiful weather and warmer temps that have me in this crazy "nesting" mode. My latest project this spring has involved the storage cabinets here on this side of the basement. In the past, after buying these SystemBuild Kendall cabinets, I've always gone back and replaced the shelving with higher-quality shelves that can support a decent amount of weight without bowing. The … [Continue Reading...]

Welcome to the 899th Metamorphosis Monday Party! Happy new week to you! I have a variety of goodies to share today, but first on the list is this amazing blackened salmon sandwich I had while dining in the Big Canoe Clubhouse on Saturday. I'm serious, it was that good! It's a good thing I … [Continue Reading...]

Going Back To Big Canoe: A Brief Tour Of Their Newly Renovated Clubhouse

Beautiful Long Range Views, Big Canoe

One of my favorite places to visit in north Georgia is Big Canoe. This mountain community is nestled in the foothills of the North Georgia Appalachian Mountains and is so picturesque and peaceful. I've rented a home there a few times now—once when the floors were being refinished in the downstairs part of my home...   ...and in June of 2024, to see what it would be like to live in a home located way up high on one of the … [Continue Reading...]

Beautiful Spring-Easter Table Setting With A Lovely “Floral Meadow” Tablecloth & Dinnerware

Welcome to the 916th Tablescape Thursday! I have a beautiful spring table to share with you today! This table had me searching online for tablecloths this morning, and I'm not one to use tablecloths that often, but oh my goodness, everything on Brenda's Easter/Spring table is stunning!   As you enjoy this beautiful table, if you fall in love with the tablecloth as I did, sadly, I don't think it's still available. It appears to have been from Williams … [Continue Reading...]

Spring Refresh: These Are My Fave Cleaning Products That I Buy Over & Over Again

If you saw yesterday's post, you know the ceiling in my garage just got a big update, an update that was necessary to stop an ongoing issue with the paint peeling away.   There was a lot, and I do mean A LOT of sanding that went on, so the garage windows were a mess! Actually, once I started cleaning, I found they were dirtier on the outside than they were on the inside. I pulled out my favorite window cleaner and got to work. They look so clean and … [Continue Reading...]
