Spring Fashions, Great Sale, My Go-to Sandals & What Does This Bag Remind You Of?

I love shopping for clothes this time of year; the colors are so happy and pretty! Before I share some of my favorite spring fashions, an awesome sale, and my go-to summer sandals. If you’re a Louis Vuitton handbag fan, I found a bag yesterday that made me do a double take! I have always loved the look of LV’s wicker Capucines bag, but they are almost impossible to find since LV doesn’t offer them every spring, and when they do, they always sell out within the first few days. In fact, they often are presold before they ever arrive! Then there’s the cost: If I’m remembering correctly, I think the last time LV carried this bag, the cost was over $7,000. Yikes!

Look what I found at one of my favorite online stores! It looks so much like the popular LV bag and costs drastically less—like way, way, less! During the summer, I love wearing linen dresses. I find shifts to be extra flattering since they don’t cling to the body. This dress feels so summery and fresh! I like that it has a cotton lining, so you don’t have to worry about it being see-through. You’ll find it available here: Palm Linen Dress. I really should do a post just for the guys. I had a request for that a while back and need to do that. In the meantime, I love this striped, long-sleeve linen shirt. I don’t often share clothes from Reese Witherspoon’s store, but this summer dress was so cute, I had to share it. Unless you are model-tall, ignore the length on the models. Since I’m only 5’4″, I find most summer dresses usually hit just above the knee, despite looking short on the models.  You’ll find this cute dress available here: Eyelet Embroidery Dress.

My go-to sandal for summer is the Ecco Sport Yucatan sandal. I live in mine during the summer months since they make my feet so happy! I sometimes wear them during the winter around the house with merino wool socks, since they are so comfortable. I always go up a size if I plan to wear them with fluffy wool socks, but for my summer sandals, I go with my normal size.
