Welcome to the 29th Tablescape Thursday!
St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner…let’s celebrate with some tea out on the porch!
And of course, we must have green tea, since we are celebrating St. Paddy’s Day. (The green tole tray was a wedding gift 30 years ago.)
I picked fresh flowers from the garden.. Ahhh…their sweet, sweet fragrance is wonderful!
Little bees must have been tucked down inside the daffodils.
Because now they have settled right down on our spoons. But don’t worry, they are friendly bees.
A little sugar with your tea? (Found this adorable shamrock tea set at A Classy Flea.)
How about some cream?
A bees-eye view…
If you were a bee, which flower would you choose?
So glad you could join me for tea out on the porch.

Your St. Paddy day dishes are so sweet. I just wanted to thank you for according to Shelia “enabling” us. TOP OF THE ‘MORNIN’ TO YOU LASSIE,;)
My Italian husbans tells me I only have St. Patty’s day to let it be known that I’m half Irish. So you would think that I’d do it up big and have a WONDERFUL dish display like yours. 🙁 I love it. Now I have to go back and view it again.

Another great tablescape, Susan! I love that tea set and that adorable spoon! I was looking for something similar at my local HomeGoods last week, but I guess I was a day or two too late because it seemed picked out and none of the good pieces completed a set. Oh, well…
Great table today! My eyes are feasting as I type! Happy Thursday!
Hi Susan,
The colours of your daffodils are adorable. The nice thing for me with winter coming our way in Australia is that I can follow your blog and others through spring. I can’t wait, I can just imagine what you have planned for your spring tablesettings.
Thank you again, for hosting such a wonderful event, I am really enjoying being a part or your world each week.
Have a lovely weekend,

This tea set is so beautiful. I love the details in this set. OK so I don’t know if this ever happens to you but last night when I woke up at 2 am and realized I forgot to comment after posting my link last night :0)
Do you think I might be blogging too much when I wake up thinking about commenting???
Have a wonderful day Susan!
Another example of why you have been deemed the tablescape diva. Your sense of style is so inspiring.
Susan:
You should consider writing a book about Table Scapes as this is your thing and your talent should be shared. Absolutely brilliant today!
Have a Terrific Thursday

I love the tea set and am totally drooling over the silverware. I want them! They would go with the glasses I want to get. 🙂 I am late posting today so I’m 80 something on the list–I think you are going to hit 100 tablescape postiers in the next few weeks, easy. Wow!!
Susan, your shamrock tea is so lovely. This is the most pleasing rendition of shamrock china I’ve ever seen.
You might want to let some of the ladies know that it is impossible to post a comment on their blogs because the word verification thin doesn’t seem to be working correctly! They may be wondering why they don’t have many or any comments. You were so helpful to me in that regard.
Thanks,
Scribbler
Oh my gosh – my birthday is on St. Patrick’s Day and I would love to have some china like that. Did you get it all at a flea market – or just the one piece?
Since my husband has been ill, I have been doing good to get my food onto a paper plate…
Simply lovely! I think we would all love to enjoy tea with you in your gorgeous porch. The Shamrocks on the china so darling and the flowers all make a perfect combination of fun festivity!

We were waiting for a warm day to take the baby’s picture, We have one of each child before they turn two years old, all dress in white, and use the same little chair. The girls picture is took in with the daffodils. I guess we will have to wait for my grandmothers pink roses to bloom. lol Is the tea ready?
Susan thank you for stopping over. And thank you for such a nice comment on my tablscape thursday; I’m just excited that you stopped by.
Blossom

What a lovely tea time…I just want to linger! just pretend I’m not here,ok?!
Have a fabulous weekend…what’s left!
;-D
I love the tablescape! Your little white shamrock tea set is so pretty; it reminds me of the Belleek china sets from Ireland.
I am trying to find the tea set that you have displayed in your St. Patricks Day tablescape. Can you tell me the brand or maker of it or where I could possibly find it?
Hi Delana,
Unfortunately, they don’t have a hallmark of any type on them so I have no idea of the manufacturer. I found the few pieces I have in a thrift store many years ago. I’d love to find more pieces but have never run across anymore.
Back for a cup of tea to take all this in again, Susan. Delightful. I love that sweet china. It certainly would start the day off right.
Where can we purchase this tea set?
Not sure…I found this while out antiquing many years ago. It doesn’t have a hallmark or brand on it.
The set is beautiful….thanks.
This is so beautiful! If I were a bee, I’d choose the all white daffodils – I love them so much! All your flowers are lovely, and the porch and tea tray too! So fun to go back those many years and see what you were up to then! Happy Thursday Susan, and Thank you!
