The Last Of The Sunflowers

Welcome to the 837th Tablescape Thursday! Today is delivery day. As I type this, the table and chairs I have purchased for the Dollhouse dining room are somewhere out there rolling around on a delivery truck. I'm the 4th stop of the day, so it should be arriving sometime today between 11-3:00 pm. I paid extra for Rooms To Go's premium delivery plan which includes unpacking and setting up the table/chairs … [Read more...]

An Accidental Mother’s Day Table Setting

Welcome to the 559th Tablescape Thursday! I'm not exactly sure how I did this, but somehow I accidentally created a Mother's Day table setting for this week's Tablescape Thursday. lol It was super cloudy yesterday so I decided early on in the day I'd set a table inside in the breakfast room instead of on the porch. I thought I'd create a blue and white candlelit setting with the new lantern I just … [Read more...]

Limelight Hydrangeas Lend Inspiration for a Romantic Summer Table

Welcome to the 462nd Tablescape Thursday! With all this organizing of my tablescaping goodies that I've been doing this past week, I couldn't resist taking all that organization for a  spin and putting a table together for today's Tablescape Thursday. In The BNOTP Library: China And Glass

While we continue enjoying all the beautiful table settings posted for today's Tablescape Thursday, HERE, I'm sharing a book from my library that's a dish lover's dream. Even though it's been four years now, I remember the day this book arrived. I had a feeling I would like it since I have other books by this author and love those, but I was positively elated as I flipped through it and realized how … [Read more...]

Since I'd just bought six place settings of this china the summer before at the Flea, I was excited to find a matching pitcher...and for only $6.   When I got home, I pulled out a bread plate and a … [Read more...]

A Magnolia & Lemon Centerpiece

Welcome to the 11th Tablescape Tuesday! On one of my trips to A Classy Flea this past summer, I came across this happy daisy china.  It was love at first sight! I used place mats and matching napkins I already had. The faux bamboo flatware is from Big Lots...very inexpensive but I love it. This is an American made dishware and it dates back to the 1960s. It was made by Metlox Potteries out … [Read more...]

Vintage Copeland Spode

Welcome to the 8th Tablescape Tuesday! The following tablescape is one I posted on Rate My Space many months back. I didn't want to use a typical floral centerpiece, so I scouted around the house for something I already had that might work well with a red and white tablescape. This vintage china is made by Copeland Spode and the pattern is 'Tower'. The centerpiece is a bunny that was hand-made … [Read more...]
