The Last Halloween Table Setting for 2023! Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! Are you ready for your Trick or Treaters this evening? It’s going to be very cold here in Ohio tonight with temps in the 30s as we head out with the boys for trick or treating. Just a few days ago, we were enjoying short-sleeve weather–wish it could have lasted just a few more days! I still remember the year I was here for Halloween and it snowed! That was a first–Trick or Treating in the snow!

I have one last fun Halloween table to share with you and what better day than on Halloween Day! Brenda wrote, “I loved putting together this table as we do not have kids going out Trick or treating anymore, but it still gives us the element with the Halloween season almost here.”

Did you notice in that first picture how Brenda added creepy cloth to her lighting overhead? That may not work with a lot of chandeliers since it could be too close to the lights, but it seems to work great with Brenda’s chandelier. (Psst: Please don’t use that idea on your lighting if it places the cloth too close to the lights.)  I love how Brenda dressed the chairs with creepy cloth, too. I’m totally stealing this idea for a future Halloween table setting.

I love a Halloween table that’s elegant with just the right amount of spooky.

Brenda said, “I tried to elevate the table setting by adding the chargers that I did. I love mixing and matching patterns of dishing and seeing where it all goes. I love the result!”

Fancy chargers and they look great in this elegant Halloween table!

The appetizer or bread plate…

I like how Brenda mixed and matched her Halloween dishware–it all works so well together for this fun, spooky Halloween table.

You don’t have to hold your glassware all by yourself–you have some help! Hahaha! (Pottery Barn has similar glassware on sale here: Skeleton Glassware and here: Skeleton Glassware.)

If she’s a witch, she’s definitely the prettiest and most elegant one that I’ve ever seen. Is that a spider in her hair?

A black pumpkin for this elegant black/white tablescape…

Some additional elements in the centerpiece…notice the black stick flatware. You’ll find a lot of black flatware here: Black Flatware.

Thanks so much to Brenda for sharing this perfectly elegant, spooky Halloween table!

  1. I am not a fan of Halloween but love the tablescapes and creativity. It might be the last table for Halloween, but remember- after season sales start tomorrow to buy for next year ! Stay warm Susan.

  2. OMG The charger plates are to die for!!!! All kidding aside, I have charger plate envy (is that a thing?) I cannot find them anywhere. If anyone does find them PLEASE let me know. I want to do an amazing table scape for our 30th anniversary (Pearl) and they would really be perfect!!!!

    • Elena, not sure if you saw the list I placed at the end of the post that shows where Brenda found everything. She purchased her chargers at Wayfair, so check there. Also, try looking on eBay if they are no longer at Wayfair. Maybe Brenda can check the back of the chargers to see if they are a particular brand name.

      • Hi Susan!!! I saw the list and looked through Wayfair chargers but did not see them. I will look again, I LOVE them!!!! Enjoy your time with family!!!!

I'd love to hear from you! Please leave a comment!
