50% Off The Sale Price & Some Of These Would Work Great For Spring!

It has been a crazy few days around here. Looking forward to sharing an important update on Monday for Metamorphosis Monday! In the meantime, you guys have been sharing all your wonderful after Christmas sale finds and you’ve given me FOMO! Audrey messaged me on Instragram about the big Talbots sale that’s going on right now that’s 50% off the already on sale winter styles! On top of that, there’s another 5% off for Talbots card holders. Such great pricing if you could use a few more items for winter. I know in many areas, the winter frigid temps sometimes hang on through April, so we still have plenty of winter ahead.

Audrey just purchased this gorgeous plaid parka and she knew how much I love plaid/tartan designs. It’s on sale, plus another 50% here: Plaid Parka. She also bought the coordinating shoes and they are sooo cute! You can see several styles that would work with the coat and that are currently on sale here: Shoe and Boot Sale. I’m eyeing some of their boots–so many cute styles!

I love blue and green together, especially in clothes so I’m eyeing this jacket. It’s on sale with another 50% off here: Plaid Barn Jacket.

This coat caught my eye because it’s not often you see pink plaid. It’s on sale here: Pink Plaid Coat.

If neutral colors are more your style, those are also included in the sale on sale. I love this cardigan in one of my fave color combos of ivory and camel/brown. Sooo pretty! It’s on salw with another 50% off here: Plaid Cardigan in Beautiful Neutrals.

I noticed it’s also available in black and white, classic color combo! Both cardigans are on sale here: Plaid Cardigan in Beautiful Neutrals.

I have shared this jacket several times this winter because I love it so much! I love how the collar lays and that soft windowpane plaid. You’ll find it on sale with another 50% off here: Windowpane Neutral Jacket. If you have a Talbot’s card, there should be another 5% off, as well. I love the free shipping I get with my Talbots card, too.

I have a thing for Fair Isle sweaters and I love how this one comes down nice and long in back. It’s on sale with another 50% off here: Fair Isle Sweater.

If you love color as I do, this green sweater with its suble design is really pretty! Again, I love how long it comes down in back with the little slits on the side…such a flattering style! It’s on sale here: Green Sweater.

I was curious if any of their past spring season items were included in the sale and I found a few treasures! If you’re mind is in spring mode or you have a winter trip planned to someplace warm and sunny, check out these adorable floral crop pants that are included in the sale here: Floral Crop Pants.

This top is a great transition piece that could be worn now but would also work great for spring. I love the colors! You’ll find it on sale with another 50% off here: Paisley Top.

Have fun snuggled up inside shopping the after Christmas/Holiday sales this weekend!

Some great deals for sure Susan, so tempting. I know you have a birthday coming soon, if not already here, so Happy Birthday!! May you have a great year of good health and joy! Big HUGS to you♥️.

  2. Hi Susan,
I’ve been disappointed in Talbot’s Fall 2022 and Winter 22-23 collections. I was wondering about your thoughts. My disappointment extends to the boring selection, the sizing and the quality. I ordered quite a few items and returned them because the quality was lacking (sweaters felt like acrylic) or the sizing was off (Cordoroy straight leg jeans had very inconsistent sizing and one leg’s seam always seemed to be crooked). I’m 68 and am getting very frustrated with the lack of shopping options for ladies our age. Talbots was always my go to, but I am finding their clothes more of a disappointment as each new season unfolds.

    • I always read the fabric content before I order because I don’t like tops with spandex in them. If it’s mostly cotton, linen or has a decent amount of wool in it, then I’ll order it. I’ve noticed that I have to size up one size when I order the cords, they tend to run smaller than the jeans. Not sure why that is, maybe different companies make those for Talbots. Fran, definitely let them know via their customer service email about your concerns. If they get enough comments like that, I’m sure they’ll look into it. I have a Talbots near me so I love to go in there and “feel” the fabrics when I can. I know what you mean, there’s not a lot of quality options out there anymore. Talbots is the best I’ve found so far that’s still within my budget. I love Ralph Lauren, but their clothes tend to be so expensive.

  3. Thank you for your kind reply. Although I have heard from others that they face the same difficulty with Talbot’s sizing_-_a medium in one thing is not always the same medium in another. For instance -I am 5’9″ and on occasion – I have been able to wear a Petite! So who knows what the problem is – I wish I knew who to write to concerning this very common dilemma! Have a Happy New Year – a few days late!

I'd love to hear from you! Please leave a comment!
