A New Addition To The Movie Room

Welcome to the 891st Metamorphosis Monday! Hope you had a great weekend! Mine was busy but very productive. The rowing machine that I had ordered arrived on Friday, and I finally had the time to put it together on Sunday evening. The instructions were great, so it went together very easily. I used it briefly last night and was impressed with how quiet it is and how effortlessly it glides. It’s virtually silent when in use.

I brought my phone down to the movie room and rewatched THIS video to make sure I was getting my technique correct. I like that this rowing machine has a phone/tablet holder on the display console. So far, I am loving this rowing machine! My plan is to use it a couple of times each day while watching a movie or something interesting on TV. That’s how I use my Peloton back home. I prefer to ride 15-20 minutes, twice a day, rather than take a longer 30-45 minute class. I may end up liking this rowing machine even more than my bike since it feels like it’s giving me a full-body workout.

There’s a knob for adjusting the tension. I like that since it will allow me to adjust it down on the days I want a milder workout and crank it up a bit for those days I want a more strenuous workout.

You’ll find more information (and videos) about this rowing machine here: Rowing Machine with Phone/Tablet Holder and 16 Tension Adjustment Levels. It’s currently on sale, as mine was when I purchased it last week. The color of the rowing machine in the ad is slightly different, but everything else looks exactly the same as on my machine. Happy rowing!

  2. Oh that sounds great – I’m glad it’s working for you! It’s so fun to have a workout that you love. Thanks so much for hosting the party, hope you have a wonderful week!

  3. Great! So glad it worked out. Especially since your latest disappointment with the puzzle table. And also, I seem to remember reading several years back that it’s more beneficial to break up your work-outs like that, anyway.

    • I think it is, too. It seems to keep the metabolism or energy going all day long. I find I get bored if a workout is a long one, unless I’m moving through a gym with a lot of different machines to work out on.

  4. You were so smart waiting until end of February to begin this new routine. So many folks buy the equipment and their resolution is over even before the first week of January. That big screen TV helps to make the time pass quickly. Enjoy and Best wishes rowing!

    • lol I get that. We all have such big plans, and then reality hits. Ha! I should have turned it toward the TV for the photos. It’s much easier to see the TV from the rowing machine than it looks in the photos. Thanks, Teresa!

I'd love to hear from you! Please leave a comment!
