Just a quick post to share how the new puzzle desk/table is working out. In a nutshell, it’s working great! Please ignore all the wires—one is for the table, one goes from the modem to my computer, and one is for the power/surge protector for my computer, monitors, and speakers. If you look toward the bottom where the two legs of the table connect to the two feet of the table, you’ll notice that the outer part of the legs is all the way down to the feet. This is how the table looks when it’s in the “seated” position for working puzzles.

The cats were fascinated by this moving table. This photo once again shows the puzzle board, with the table in the position I need it for working on a puzzle while seated.

The number showing on the display in the photo below is the height (in inches) of the table when it’s in its lowest position. That’s the height I prefer when seated to work on a puzzle. Programming the buttons labeled 1, 2, and 3 is as easy as setting your favorite stations on your car radio: just raise or lower the table to the height you wish and press the button, holding it down for 3 to 4 seconds. The button you chose will flash, indicating that it has been programmed for the height you chose. I have 1 set for the lowest height, which is what I prefer when sitting to work on a puzzle. The number two button is set for the height I prefer when standing to work on a puzzle. I set the number 3 button a bit higher, to make it easy if I’m standing and want to work on the lower section of a puzzle. This desk would really come in handy if multiple people were working at the same desk during the day. (Desk is available here: Height Adjustable Desk.)

In this photo, I’ve raised the table to the height I need for working on a puzzle while standing.

This is how it looks raised even higher. It can go even higher than this, so a very tall person could stand and work on a laptop or a puzzle on this table.

This is the puzzle that I’m currently working on: a cozy reading nook with the beautiful Northern Lights display happening just outside. Imagine reading and napping here with that incredible scene only a few feet away. I love all the animals in this puzzle. Do you see the owl, fox, and reindeer? This puzzle is the epitome of “Cozy” with quilts, pillows, books, candlelight, hot tea, and sweet cats! (Puzzle is available here: Cozy Puzzle with Northern Lights.

I think Bits and Pieces has discontinued the puzzle board that I use. I’m guessing that’s because they have come out with one that’s slightly different. The new one is like mine, except it also rotates to allow for doing vertical puzzles. Apparently, it’s been a huge hit because it’s currently sold out. When it’s back in stock again, you’ll find it available here: Puzzle Board, Rotates for working Horizontal or Vertical Puzzles.

Hope you found this helpful if you’ve been looking for a way to do puzzles while standing. I love these desks that can be height-adjusted! (Desk is available here: Height Adjustable Desk.) I sit entirely too much, so I’m thrilled to have a way to stand while doing something I love, like puzzling!

Link to desk? Am I missing it?
Here it is: https://amzn.to/4qWyKlC .
Thanks for letting me know I forgot to share that.
Glad to see you had help putting it together and doing a quality control inspection when it was finished.
Ha! It definitely got inspected throughly by two inspectors, and thankfully passed!
If you come back to the desk and find it not the way you left it, I think the inspectors have discovered how to work the buttons. I had a cat once in the way back that would answer the phone and then figured out that there was a button so she could hear the person on the “answering machine”. Remember those? She wanted to hear the other person talk–and would talk back!
