Susan, do you buy regular or petite pants? Somewhere as I aged, I lost three inches. I hate buying online. Then it’s a “high waist” now instead of normal. I really need a petite for a shorter seat and have to go Into a store to try them on. “Short” just means short legs. On Amazon they don’t seem to understand what “petite” is any longer. It started with foreign made pants. Yes. Its “pants buying time”
The only place I’ve ever shopped for Petites was in Talbots when they were out of the size I needed in their regular department. Unfortunately, I’m right at the cusp, petites are normally a little too short. When shopping their tops, I have to go a full size up if I shop in the Petites department, or they are too small/short.
I wear their skinny or slim fit pants, and somehow they are always the perfect length for my 5’4″ height. I love those two styles, and Talbots is pretty much the only place I go for pants. Maybe you could order several styles of their pants when they are on sale (which is pretty often) and see which ones fit the best and return the others.
