I’ve never met a Barbara Milo Ohrbach book I didn’t love, this one included. I purchased Antiques At Home back in 2007 and it’s one of my very favorites by her.

3 Things I Like About This Book:
- It’s like going antiquing to all the best places with a super knowledgeable friend. You learn so much in this book and I love the little stories she includes throughout.
- Pictures are absolutely wonderful, I want to reach into the book and touch and hold EVERYTHING. Includes some gorgeous interiors, too!
- There’s an extensive list of antique shops and galleries in both the United States and Europe in the back of the book. There’s also a list of museums, too.
Love this book, it’s one of my faves to pull off the shelf and get lost in again and again.

Looks like a great book. Thanks for sharing your find.
Thanks, Lynn!
I have this book, have had it for ever, nice reference. Richard from My old Historic House
It really is…would love to visit some of the shops listed in the back of the book! Thanks, Richard!
Susan, this book is part of my library, and like you, I’ve found it one I pull off the shelves and visit often. It’s rainy here this afternoon………I think I’ll revisit Barbara’s book. ‘-)
It started raining here today, too. We haven’t had rain in ages though, so I’m not complaining. Have a cozy evening reading, Sarah!
Susan, I have this book, too, but I haven’t looked at it in a long while. Thanks for reminding me to pull it out again! 🙂
I have decided that you are a very dangerous lady to know! I just ordered this book and one more by Barbara Orhbach from Amazon and it is all your fault. Bad, Susan!!! LOL
Ha! I’ve been told I’m a bad influence more than once. lol I have a friend who likes to go antiquing with me occasionally. Now every time he buys something, even if we haven’t seen or talked to each other in weeks, he’ll call me, tell me what he’s bought, then always says it’s my fault. 😉 Now he’s got another friend of mine doing it, so they gang up on me. lol So yep, I’m a bad influence! 🙂
I just received this book in the mail today. Gorgeous antiques and photos. I ordered from Amazon used for fifty cents. Plus $3.99 shipping. Came from a Goodwill store. Best buy I have had in a long time. A huge Thank You for the tip.
Glad you like it, Patricia! I love it, too…one of my faves for sure! 🙂
