Beautiful Candlelit Table Setting, A Captivating Centerpiece & An Incredible Menu/Dessert

Welcome to the 813th Tablescape Thursday! I have a beautiful table setting to share with you this week, but first, I wanted to let you know that I’m having a little problem with my replies to your lovely comments not reaching your Inbox. I changed blog hosts recently and everything went great except with that one issue. We are working to get that resolved. In the meantime, the easiest way to see my reply to your comment, especially if you had asked a question and were awaiting an answer, is to check the comments at the end of the post. I have so enjoyed reading the comments you left where you described your “dream home” and so have the other BNOTP visitors, so thank you for sharing those!

Okay, get ready to feast your eyes on a beautiful table setting Warren shared with me recently. Warren said, “I finally set a Valentine’s Day tablescape with which I am happy.”

“I hung small heart ornaments from the gold candelabras (purchased on eBay).  The candleholders, glasses, and table runner were purchased at HomeGoods. I built the tablescape around the illuminated centerpiece, which was constructed using a cut crystal bowl with a floral tealight candleholder placed in the center.”

“I used clear glass dinner plates, which I placed over a circular picture of a wreath of hearts (downloaded for free from the internet). I used two-sided tape to adhere the pictures to the center of red and white plates recently purchased at HomeGoods. The plates were set on polished brass chargers (eBay). For the Valentine’s Day dinner, Kathie served shrimp cocktail, Cumberland chicken with red currant sauce, barley, asparagus, and for dessert her “light” all-chocolate cake with raspberries.”

Warren said, “My daughter, Jenny, made for this tablescape the fancy Valentine’s Day macarons displayed in cranberry glass compotes, which are readily available on eBay.”

To build this beautiful centerpiece, Warren used a beautiful cut crystal bowl with a floral tealight candleholder placed in the center. Warren said, “The bowl was illuminated from below with a set of string lights, whose wires were hidden by a wreath of roses. The whole ensemble was placed on a mirror.”
