Beautiful, Vintage, Hazel Atlas Pink Crinoline, A Dramatic Table Setting in Pink & Black

Welcome to the 827th Tablescape Thursday! Recently, I received an email from Kathryn, a lovely BNOTP reader who enjoys creating pretty table settings for the guests who frequent her beautiful Bed and Breakfast. Kathryn said, “We own a bed and breakfast in Garden City, KS and I love doing tablescapes.” Kathryn went on to say that she often posts her tablescapes at her Sunnyland Bed & Breakfast Facebook page, as well. Oh my gosh, such a beautiful home!

Kathryn shared a table setting she created with Vintage Hazel Atlas, Pink Crinoline dinnerware. For this table, Kathryn used a black tablecloth and it really created a dramatic setting! Can I just say, I love the little sneak peeks we are getting of her beautiful home, too! ♥

Kathryn shared, “The ruffled edge plates are vintage Hazel Atlas Pink Crinoline. The bread & butter plates are also vintage, both purchased from EBay & Etsy. The pink flatware is from Amazon and pink glassware was purchased at an estate auction.”

Love the ruffled edge of the vintage Hazel Atlas dinnerware. I can see why they named the pattern Pink Crinoline with that pretty ruffled edge. I found some of this lovely vintage pattern available here:  Vintage Hazel Atlas Pink Crinoline Dinnerware. Similar pink flatware is available here: Pink Flatware.

Love the delicate pink stemware Kathryn chose for her table—so pretty!

Kathryn kept her centerpiece simple with a pretty floral arrangement, perfect for this elegant table in pink and black.

Thanks so much to Kathryn for sharing this elegant table setting from her beautiful Sunnyland Bed and Breakfast.

Looking forward to the beautiful table settings linked for this week’s Tablescape Thursday!

If you are participating in Tablescape Thursday, please be sure to add your permalink below, and not your general blog address. To get your permalink, click on your post name, then copy and paste the address showing in the address bar, into the “url” box when you link up. You’ll need to include a link in your post back to the party to link up and participate. That’s so visitors to your blog will be able to find the party and the other Tablescape Thursday participants. Requiring a link back also prevents businesses and scammers from linking up to sell their products. Please, don’t add your post name/blog name ALL IN CAPS…it tends to create big spaces between the rows of links. Please do not link up table settings that were just recently shared in the last few weeks for Tablescape Thursday.

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

  1. The pink and black is so dramatic! Beautiful!

  2. Snow…a nice cool thought in this Texas heat. Great curb appeal on the home. The dishes are gorgeous. I’m a huge fan of feminine pink color. The fun candelabra fit the castle like exterior.

  4. What a darling table….love the vintage dishes and striking color combination. So fun! BEAUTIFUL HOME….wish Kansas wasn’t so far from California!

  5. Michele M. says

WOW!!! What a unique gorgeous table setting. I am so happy she shared it with you (us!) And that house is something else. Who wouldn’t love to stay there, right??

  6. How nice to stay at a B & B and be welcomed to a fancy table setting like this. I’d feel quite sp0iled. Thank you, Kathryn, for sharing. And what a find that stemware was! Just gorgeous.

Now then, I’d like to officially request a specialty ‘house tour’ for all of us here. We love it when Susan posts home tours and your B & B looks enchanting. Please, please consider letting us have a closer look. The woodwork alone looks incredible. I for one would love to see some large pictures of each room and hear the story of how you got into the B &B business. You have so many guest rooms! I’d love to hear your story. I haven’t been to Kansas in years.
Wish I lived closer! Thanks for sharing this with Susan, Kathryn.

  7. What a lovely table, and beautiful bed and breakfast! If I’m ever down that way, that’ll be my first call! Thanks so much to both of you for sharing – Happy Thursday!

  8. Your Sunnyland B & B house and your table display are lovely. It’s been a few years, but I used to live in California and made trips back to Kansas City and drove through Kansas many times. I think I went to a rodeo in Garden City. I will look at your website for more pictures.

I stayed at a similar style B & B in Keokuk, Iowa in 2016 known as the Grand Anne. It was built around 1900 and was on a bluff high above the Mississippi River in southeast Iowa. I think it was a kit house. There was an electrical fire a few years later but I believe there is still info about it online.

  9. Thank you, Susan for sharing my table! Thank you all for you lovely comments, they are greatly appreciated!
Yes, I would be happy to have Susan share house tour photos!

I'd love to hear from you! Please leave a comment!
