While I was visiting with my friend, Marie recently, I asked if she had decorated her granddaughter’s bedroom for spring. I remembered how cute it was decorated for Christmas (shown below).
She said she had made a few changes in the room for spring so I couldn’t wait to see it and snap a few pics to share with you.
There’s plenty of room for all 4 grandchildren when they are all here on the same night.
The bedding is already perfect for spring and summer, so no changes there.
Each bed got a floral pompom hanging from the headboard.
A polka dot bunny waits patiently on each bed for a little one to come visit and play with her.
Marie hung cute little sun catchers along the headboards. They were so pretty sparkling on the headboards of the beds.
I loved this painting on the wall above one bed. It was painted by a local artist.
Remember when the cupola in this room looked like this at Christmastime?
It looks very different now. Flower pompoms hang from above in place of ornaments.
Would you like some tea? Love the painted table.
Wouldn’t it be fun to have tea parties here?
Tea set is Beatrix Potter’s Peter Rabbit…perfect for Easter and Springtime.

This is the cutest room ever for little girls, I bet they never want to go home, what a “fairy princess land!”
What a gorgeous and inviting room! And what a talent for inspired decorations. Best to you and Max today as well!
I’m pretty sure if my girls stayed there, I’d try to figure out a way to sneak in with them…I love the tea party room!

I am so glad that Marie is your friend! What a fabulous house she has & everything is decorated to perfection! I so enjoy seeing what she has done for the holidays. I am praying for Max; I have 4 cats & know what you are going thru.
Happy Easter.
Beautiful room. Stunning actually. Have a blessed Good Friday Susan. Still praying for your precious furbaby.
That is gorgeous. I can just hear the grandchildren asking their parents over and over again. “Can we go visit Grandma?”
It is the most loveliest children’s’ room I have ever seen. I want to be a child again and have tea there.
I noticed the doll’s bed similar to the children’s, every detail is spectacular.
Marie, it is so nice of you to let us into your home, have a lovely Easter.
Susan, I am wishing you and Max a close happy Easter, good thoughts and prayers winging to you.
This is my last post until I return in June.

That is a dream room for little girls…and big girls! I’ll be there Thursday. 🙂
Oh my! I wish this was my room growing up…there were 4 of us girls in one room with 2 bunk beds! But of course, this would of been so much cooler! (=
I would LOVE to have that room, for ME!!! Maybe a LITTLE more grown up but sch a HUGE space! marie is amazing. Have a blessed Easter, Susan. XO, Pinky
Beautiful room, Susan. I am still praying for Max to recover.
Adorable and a room for a little girl’s delight! Very beautiful, Marie. -Brenda-
P.S: On another topic Susan re the recipe for your Devil’s Food Toffee Trifle ….. for your Canadian readers who may have to use Skor Chocolate Bars (in lieu of Heath Candy/Bars) I highly recommend just using a paring knife and chop them into about six pieces ‘width-wise on the diagonal’ to achieve the bite sized pieces required for the recipe as they break up quite easily. In other words, a food processor (which I tried) will only pulverize Skor bars to a crumble beyond recognition and that is not what you want! ☺ I used a total of eight bars which worked out marveously well and the dessert itself got great reviews. Not a morsel was left! (Reference your recipe including photos under the title of ‘Good Eats/Recipes’ in your header.)
A lovely post, as usual, Susan. I so enjoyed seeing Marie’s lovely home at Christmas, too. She’s so kind to share it with us. You and Max are still in my prayers. I hope you know how fortunate we (your readers) feel as you share your talents and knowledge with us. You are a beautiful person – inside and out. I wish you and your family all God’s blessings. Happy Easter, Susan.
These decorations are lovely! I love that little tearoom for the girls xxx
Hi, I am one of your newest followers. Your grandchild room is great! Who wouldn’t want to stay in a room like that? Your turret room is lovely too and the Peter Rabbit tea set is very cute! I hope you will visit me on blog as well. Happy Easter! Gina

It’s so wonderful she has a room for the visiting grands! This time I looked closer at the bedding. I was astonished to see the same pattern of a quilt I bought for the girls about 8 or 10 years ago in an East Asia market where many of us went for the many beautiful quilts we used there and in our US home! The colors had more deep purple and orange plus the neon green and deep pink.
Love the room! I have a few items Marie may like to add to her room. I have lots of pink girly furniture. Pics at iheartpurdythings on facebook.
Oh! I absolutely love it… My little girls room only has two beds and “NO” granddaughters yet. I can’t wait to be a grandma. You are so BLESSED.
Marie certainly out did herself for the grandkids..the room is adorable…I have not driven past the house in a week or two…Can’t wait to see how they have decorated for Easter….last I saw was shamrocks!!
Sue, I haven’t seen it yet either. I bet the outside is decorated for Spring by now. 🙂
I absolutely LOVE this room! Could you please let us know the name of the paint color please?
Thank you,
Amanda
Hi Amanda, I just texted Marie and she said that it was either a Sherwin Williams or Benjamin Moore color called, Pink Ladies. She had it painted 12 years ago, so she wasn’t sure about the brand but the name is Pink Ladies. Check with those two paint companies and they should be able to look up the formula and mix it for you.
Sorry for the late response!♀️ I painted a room this color and it’s beautiful! Thank you!!!
