Do you own a Bogg Bag? Have you ever heard of them? I didn’t know they existed until last summer. I can’t remember how they first came onto my radar, but once I saw one in person, I could see why they were so popular. They are super practical bags for busy moms who haul around a lot of kid stuff. They are also great for taking along to the pool or on a beach vacation since they are almost indestructible and will hold everything you need, like towels, sunscreen, drinks, snacks, and a lot more. If a Bogg Bag gets dirty or if something spills inside, just hose it down in the sink, and it’s good to go.
Last year, I gave my daughter-in-law a UGA-themed Bogg Bag since she and my son often take my grandsons to a nearby pool where they are members. Once the bag arrived and I saw it in person, I was impressed by how sturdy it was and how vibrant/true the color was in person. I’ve ordered items in the past that were supposed to be a true RED and when they arrived, they were more of a washed-out red. That happened with a large Yeti cooler that I ordered and ended up returning since the color was nothing like the photos online. Thankfully, the UGA Bogg Bag was true in color to the color I had seen online. That impressed me! (NCAA team bags are available here: College Bogg Bags.)

I’ve occasionaly thought about buying a Bogg bag for myself since my son/DIL often invite me to go with them when they head to the pool. I’m not a water or pool person, but I do like sitting around a pool, enjoying the fun, relaxed atmosphere. Since I’m always hauling stuff back and forth from Georgia to Ohio, I could use a large, practical tote. Bogg Bags come in three sizes. I think the largest size, which is the original, is the most popular. They are also available in almost every color that you can imagine—solid colors and fun patterns, too. One of my favorite things about Bogg Bags is how they can be decorated/personalized with a lot of fun motifs.

When I was thinking about buying one last summer, this was the one I was eyeing. I love the stripes! If I were to ever go with a neutral color, this one would be my first choice. (Striped Bogg Bag is available here: Striped Bogg Bag.) Since I couldn’t make up my mind (there are so many from which to choose!) I decided to wait. In the end, I purchased a small/medium-sized bag made of a similar material on Amazon, but I never stopped thinking about the cute Bogg Bags I had seen online.

Bogg Bag releases limited-edition bags throughout the year. While scrolling Instagram last night, I came across an ad for this bag. I love bright colors and thought this bag would be so much fun for summer. Mentally, it took me back to my high school days when bright colors and tie-dying were all the rage! I know it’s over-the-top colorful, but this felt like the Bogg bag for me. I wanted something bright, colorful, and fun, and this bag says “happy” and “summer” for me in a big way!

The “Love” accessory and the “heart” are extras that can be purchased separately to decorate the bag. Those make the bag for me, so I had to have those, too. Here’s how this newly released bag looks in all three sizes.

I don’t plan to start collecting Bogg Bags, although I may eventually buy the stripped one for when I want to carry a more neutral bag during the fall/winter months. Or, this may be the only Bogg Bag I ever buy. I’m tempted to buy this same bag in the medium size, too. It’s just such a fun, happy design! (This “Heart” bag is available here: Colorful Heart Bogg Bag.)

I was stunned to find that Bogg Bag has all of their sports-themed bags on sale 50% off right now! What?! I almost bought this bag for my DIL last summer since she could use a large bag for all the goodies she takes along to my grandson’s games. When I saw it was on sale, I immediately snagged one in the large size for her. I have a feeling they will go quickly at this price! All of the sports-themed bags can be found here: Baseball-themed Bogg Bag.

This set of adorable accessory bags can be used either inside the bag or worn on the outside of the bag. It was only $7.50 since it’s on sale 50% off, too. What a great sale!

I wish I played Pickle Ball because the Pickle Ball Bogg Bag is adorable! I love the colors and the design! If you play Pickle Ball, check it out here: Pickle Ball Bogg Bag. It’s on sale 50% off, too! All the sports Bogg Bags are visible at that link, as well…and all of them are on sale right now.

Before I close this post, did you see this year’s Christmas bag? Green is my favorite color, so it was all I could do to resist this one! I think it’s only available in the Medium and Small sizes now. Sooo cute! (Christmas bag is available here: Christmas Bogg Bag.)

Happy New Year!

Please send your link for the UGA bag. Ross store had a solid color in their purse racks. The bags seem very practical and sturdy for toting around in a vehicle. Hope your New Year’s off to good start.

Thanks, Teresa!
We gave our granddaughter a USC Bogg bag at Christmas. The heart bag is adorable!!!
Oh, I bet she loved it! It is, these bags are so addictive! lol
never heard of them in my life. And my kids live in nyc but they did tell me that Vera Bradley is making a big come back going to dig out my old ones. Going to be very popular this summer. They always know what coming out.
Happy New Year. Always leading me astray. LOL I love the pink and white bag with pink handles. Nice Valentines or Easter gift. I just bought another bag or it would be mine. Looks durable. My cloth take along bag when I grocery shop was raggedy. Amazing how much wear and tear we get while shopping.
Never mind you and your cute bags- where are your furry children?
They need their own weekly segment.
.
I have quite a few requests to see them. I’ve taken so many pictures, it will take me forever to go through them, but I promise to do a post soon catching on the furbabies.
I think you will love using the big bogg bag especially going back and forth from the dollhouse to the Georgia house. Also – it may be handy for bringing things from downstairs to upstairs and bringing in groceries from the car. So many uses. I have a large and a medium. The medium goes with me to workout and holds my water bottle, jacket and wristlet. I don’t worry about putting it on the floor since it can be easily cleaned.
Oh, that’s a good idea about bringing things up and down. I def need that as much as I run up and down the stairs.
That’s one thing I really love about them, that you place them right on the floor. I bet I’ll end up getting a medium size one day.
Please give us a New Year’s post and pictures and updates on those adorable kitties!
Will do! I keep meaning to do that, I’ll do that soon. Thanks, Judy!
I had been eyeing the Bogg bag for a while and finally got the bright pink large size. I use it for all my car trips. It is very sturdy in the bag and holds all my “essential” toiletries etc. If I didn’t take so many “maintenance” things, it would be a great overnight bag for car travel. The Christmas designs were so cute, but I resisted. My daughter in law loves hers.
This one is very cute! I resisted the gingerbread one at Christmas. I have so many bags!
Susan – Thanks for the tip on the Bogg Bag sale! I sent my daughter the link for the volleyball bag since my granddaughter plays. I ended up buying the small biddy bag in the Christmas design for myself before the holidays when it was on sale. I actually used it as a purse and got many compliments on it! Love the heart bag! This could get addicting!!!
I have a black “imitation “ Bogg bag that is wonderful for toting whatever is needed for ball games, pool visits, etc. I think they are all adorable but a little too pricey for me. The Jack-o-lantern ones and the gingerbread ones are really cute.
They are SO AWESOME when boating. No carry-on compares. Wish they weren’t so pricey though.
I only heard about them through you, Susan. I think the heart bag is adorable, though. That would be a good choice, imo. You are always on the cutting edge of this sort of thing. I would never have known about them, otherwise.
