It Has Turned Cold & I’m Craving A Warm, Cozy, Snuggle-Worthy Wardrobe

It has turned very cold here in Ohio. The lows have been in the 30s at night. It’s been almost that cold in northern Georgia, too. Though I don’t like cold weather, I do like an excuse to wear warm, cozy sweaters. I’ve always had a soft spot for snowflake sweaters! This is one of the prettiest ones I’ve seen, love the design! It’s currently on sale 30% off here: Snowflake Sweater.

Snowflake Sweater, Beautiful

One of my other favorite winter sweater styles is Fair Isle. This one looks especially warm in a turtleneck style. Both the sweater above and the one below look incredibly cozy, but also sophisticated. Beautiful sweaters! This one is on sale 30% off here: Fair Isle Turtleneck Sweater.

Love the colors of this polar bear-themed sweater! Sooo cute! It’s on sale here: Polar Bear Sweater.

Another gorgeous Fair Isle design! This sweater has a more relaxed fit with wider cuffs. I find sweaters like this to be very flattering on because they don’t cling to the body. You’ll find this beautiful sweater on sale here: Beautiful Fair Isle Sweater.

Green is my favorite color and I love this shade of green! Beautiful pattern, too! It’s currently on sale here: Green Sweater.

I wear cardigans a lot  all throughout the year, love them for winter but also love cotton cardigans in the spring and fall. This cardigan is made of 100% organic cotton—love that! It’s hard to find white sweaters that are all cotton so this one is super tempting me.

It comes in this pretty neutral color, too. You’ll find it in both colors on sale here: Organic Cotton Cable Cardigan.

I thought these would be so cute for winter, especially worn with dresses or slacks to a holiday party. Love the tartan and bow design! They are on sale here: Tartan Bow Loafers, Great for Winter and Holiday Parties.

These look so comfortable! They would be so cute with black denim jeggings, which I do have. I need these! You’ll find them on sale here: Winter Boots with a Touch of Tartan.

Do I need another coat? Not really, but I have been eyeing this coat for a long time and can’t get it out of my mind. The reviews are really good, it’s a huge favorite!

It comes in so many colors, I think the hardest part will be choosing the color. I like this rose pink with the contrasting plaid inside.

I think this blue is new for this year…love it!

Love the plum, too! I think one of the things that makes the design of this coat so appealing is the light khaki lining and how it contrasts so beautifully with the beautiful colors of the coat itself. Purple/plum is usually a color that works well for me, or at least it was when I had golden/medium-brown hair. Ha! I think this color should still work well with my now, white hair, since I’ve started growing it out.

I have a rain jacket in this color and really love it. I get compliments on the color every time I wear it. Unfortunately, this color is only available now in XS. The other sizes sold out very quickly.

Love the Forest Green color, too! See what I mean about how hard it is to choose just one color?! This coat is available in 11 colors! You’ll find them all here: Coat That’s Great For All 4 Seasons.

The other item that I’ve had on my wish list for quite a while are these jeans with floral embroidered bottoms. The design goes all the way around! I love, love, love this so much!

These are so perfect for spring and summer, but I’d be tempted to wear them all year. Who doesn’t need some pretty flowers in the dead of winter?! They are so cute! You’ll find them available here: Wildflower Jeans.

Love this combination of shearling style mixed with quilted fabric and the plaid lining. Extra cozy! Love the olive green color, too! Olive green is one of my favorite colors for autumn!  You’ll find it available here: Alpine Jacket.

Love an extra-long cardigan! It’s kinda like wearing a warm blanket all day, yet you look stylish while doing it. Ha! You’ll find this cardigan available in this pretty light violet color and a neutral “oatmeal” color here: Long Cardigan Sweater.

I’ve never been the biggest fan of big puffy jackets but I do love this quilted wavy design. I also like how it’s not overly puffy/thick. If I’m going to spend my winter here in Ohio, I’m very tempted to add one of these jackets to my winter wardrobe. You’ll find it available in four beautiful colors (including green) here: Quilted Fall/Winter Jacket. It’s also available in a longer “coat” style here: Quilted Fall/Winter Coat.

Love the colors of autumn! I’m really starting to think about preparing for Thanksgiving and Christmas now. I can’t believe October is already halfway over! See you tomorrow for Tablescape Thursday where I’ll share my first-ever table setting, here in the Dollhouse. 🙂

  1. Such a great collection of fall/winter wear; I think I love every thing. But sweaters are nice and cozy and make me want to hunker down until spring. Can’t believe October is half over either.

  2. I have the All Season Jacket in rose quartz and really like it, especially since the lining is removable to make the jacket work for warmer days. It took me a couple of years to get it, because that color sold out quickly.

  3. I have had the plum colored jacket for several years and love it. I always get so many compliments when I wear it. However I had a disheartening experience with Coldwater Creek this summer when I returned 2 items and was not refunded what I thought I was owed. Charged almost $10 in shipping and $12 for “other charges”. Their customer service dept. was no help so they have lost a good customer.

  4. Love the coat in plum!

  5. Where did you find your evergreen tree lamp in your kitchen? I’ve been looking at so many old posts of yours, and I just love that lamp. I know it’s not new, but maybe I can hunt one down, or something similar. I love looking at all of your ideas. Thank you.

    • Kathy, can you give me a link to a post where you see that? I can’t think of a lamp like that in my kitchen, maybe it was in a post where I featured a table or something in someone else’s kitchen? I have two lamps in my kitchen, one on the counter which has a red plaid shade, and one a small lamp on the little desk that has a red base and a beige shade.

  6. Always tempting us. The white cable knit cardigan is very nice.
This is just the beginning of cold and heating bills in Ohio. Check back in January.

I'd love to hear from you! Please leave a comment!
