I’ve been waiting and watching for Prime Day, and it’s finally here! I just recently shared how much I love this Dyson vacuum I just purchased, and now it’s a Prime Day deal! I purchased this chair a while back, and I still love it! This is the longest I have ever kept a desk chair. Normally, desk chairs start to lose their cushioning and become uncomfortable after a year or so, since I spend so much time in my office. Not this one—it’s still going strong! I’m very tempted to order a second one for my office in the Dollhouse since I miss this one so much when I am in Ohio. I have Bose earbuds and love, love, love them. I use them all the time. Since I like them so much, I’ve been very tempted to try their over the ear headphones that I hear are amazing, as well. I haven’t really had a chance to share this in a post yet, but I have been checking out possible TVs for the basement in the Dollhouse. I never watch TV, but I do enjoy movies, and I thought my grandsons would enjoy watching movies when they are visiting/staying with me. I had heard about Samsung’s The Frame TV, evens some of the most high-tech YouTubers rave about it’s picture and how beautiful it looks when it isn’t on. Apparently it will completely fool you and looks like a beautiful painting when it’s not turned on.

I am crazy about my Ring doorbell! I have to really count on it! I love how it alerts me when a package has been delivered. When I’m traveling, I can tell when my landscaper is here cutting the grass. It has come in handy for so many things! When the floors were being redone recently, I could see the guys arriving each morning to work on them, that was so helpful knowing they were here. I will definitely be adding them to the Dollhouse. I’ve enjoyed having the Ring doorbell so much, I am planning on adding them in other areas around both houses very soon. I installed my own Ring Doorbell, wiring it into where my old doorbell was located, so they aren’t difficult to install. I was just on Amazon looking at the ultrasonic pest repellers. We have a neighbor who plants vegetables up against our privacy fence & has a peach tree he planted along our fence line that he doesn’t attend to, so therefore we have reported him to our city for rats & mice (they run along the fence line because of the food). Still waiting on city to enforce local ordinances, but we are starting to see field mice under my kitchen sink (we’re currently using the old fashion mouse traps). My patio door opens into the backyard within 6 feet of problematic fence line. We have a senior dog so pesticides are out as treatment, so I was looking into the ultrasonic repellers. Have you ever had to use these? I see there are several brands on Amazon with Amazon Day deals.
I haven’t ever tried those, so I’m not sure how they work or how effective they are. I would be a little worried that the ultrasonic sound could bother your dog since their hearing is so sensitive. You may want to call a pest control company that sets traps and doesn’t use pesticides or anything like that. So sorry you having to deal with this issue, Sharon.

I have used them for years and love them. I like the ones I bought at Lowes best. Remember not to block the beam. I showed a friend recently how many boxes and blue tubs I have in my garage. Not a single bug. If a chameleon gets in, in a couple of days, you will find it dead somewhere. I have asthma and can’t use pesticides.
I had a field-mice invasion one winter and didn’t want to use traps. I found peppermint oil sachets on Amazon, and I was amazed how quickly they took care of the problem! Apparently, mice hate the smell. It didn’t bother me at all! I replaced them when the scent wore off a month or so later, but I haven’t seen any sign of mice since.
Would you recommend the smaller Dyson for a smaller home that would also not be quite that heavy???
Yes, definitely. The first one I purchased had the smaller storage bin, and it works just as awesome as the one I purchased more recently with the larger bin.
Okay, I just ordered the fan. I told my husband it was recommended by the same person who recommended our Speed Queen washing machine, and he gave a thumbs up. 🙂
I also ordered Prime Deal toys for my granddaughter whose birthday is in August.

Sharon, I purchased some for out shed (they get in there and destroy everything) and for our garage. I am disappointed to report that they did not work. Our neighbour on one side is not clean and this encourages their reproduction. We have had to resort to old fashioned traps. My other neighbour uses poison. They eat it and come die on my side!!! How I wish those repellers worked for us.
Would you recommend purchasing insurance on the office chair?

I didn’t with mine. I think you’ll have a pretty good idea how well it’s working and if you like it during the 30-day return period. Check what the insurance covers. If they offer a full refund or replace it with the exact same product, it may be worth it. I don’t normally buy product warranties, but I did for the refrigerator I just purchased since it was so expensive and the reviews on all refrigerators are always so mixed.
So far, my chair here at home has been great and I’ve had it for almost 2 full years. It’s the longest I’ve ever had a desk chair and I still love it!

It’s a little less expensive and will hopefully be okay until I actually move there and can bring my chair from home. I mainly bought it for the color, thinking it will match the desk that is being delivered to the Dollhouse in about a week or so. I hope I will like it as much as I do the one here at home. I may regret going with such a light color. The Taupe one I have here at home doesn’t show any stains/dirt, which I love.

If you like iced coffee, Mr Coffee makes a really good, cheap machine. I got it at my local Ollie’s for $10. I think it’s around $20 on Amazon. You get a perfectly made iced coffee in under 5 minutes.
