My Prime Day Favorites, Part 2—Today Is The Final Day!

Though I don’t do a lot of cooking, I would really like to purchase a quality set of cookware for the Dollhouse. There are two sets that are part of the Prime Day deals that I’ve been eyeing. I love the look of this beautiful set of stainless All-Clad cookware. I’ve often admired it when I’ve come across it in Williams-Sonoma. It’s on sale for Prime Day and the pricing totally beats anything I’ve found elsewhere, including WS. Currently, it’s on sale here: All-Clad Stainless Steel Cookware Set.

The other All-Clad set that I’m eyeing, and that’s also included in the Prime Day sale, is this set of non-stick cookware. I’m having trouble deciding between the two because they both sound great and have great reviews. If you were choosing between these two sets, which would you buy? I would love your thoughts since I’m having such a hard time choosing between the two.

I’ve often recommended this weather station in the past because I enjoy it so much. I have several of these throughout my home and find them super helpful when getting dressed for the day, or just for knowing what the weather is like before I head out. I think it makes a great gift, too. It’s currently part of the Prime Day sale here: Weather Station.

Favorite Weather Station, Colorful Display

Love this adjustable phone holder! It lives on my desk full-time and I use it every single day. I have one in my office here, and I purchased another one to use when I’m in Ohio. Can’t do without it, especially since my phone is rather large/heavy. You’ll find it on sale for Prime Day here: Adjustable Phone Holder.

I liked the phone holder so much after it arrived, I immediately bought another one that’s designed to hold a tablet or iPad. Great design and so easy to adjust to any position! You’ll find this one on sale here: Adjustable Notebook or iPad Holder.

Love these pretty rattan tissue holders and the texture they add to a space. I have two in this exact same style, so I’m taking one with me to the Dollhouse when I next drive up. You’ll find it on sale for Prime Day here: Rattan Tissue Box Cover.

This toiletry organizer/case goes with me whenever I travel. It’s holds everything I need beautifully!

It’s super roomy and I love how easy it is to hang up in a bathroom while traveling. You’ll find it included in the Prime Day sale here: Travel Toiletry Bag.

Please let me know your thoughts on the cookware. I would love your opinion on which set you would choose and why you would choose that particular set. Thanks for your help in choosing!

  1. I purchased a large set of All-Clad stainless several years ago. I LOVE IT!!!! The Calphalon pots and pans I used everyday were in bad shape and I did not know that there was a lifetime guarantee. I had purchased a few stainless pieces at TJMaxx and liked using them so I invested in the All-Clad and I am glad I did!!! Our TJMaxx used to get All-Clad pieces on a regular basis but I have not seen any recently. Maybe purchase one or two pieces to try out before you invest in a whole set.

  2. I have All-Clad but unlike these two sets, I have the Copper Core. It’s All-Clad with a copper band near the bottom. So.Much.Better. Definitely pricier, but well worth it in the end. You know how spaghetti sauce gets burned on the bottom if you don’t stir it every few minutes? I stir mine every 15 minutes (set timer) and it comes out great every time. I also have the small skillet and that’s good, too. The 3 quart pot is a little heavy, but I love to cook with it, too.

I’d go with non stick. I had stainless steel and everything stuck to them and it was difficult to clean. Thanks for reminding me about the phone holder! I’m getting one today!

  4. Barbara Jackson says

I love my All-Clad stainless. I find that I only use a non-stick pan for a skillet or two. More than that seems unnecessary and over-kill. I prefer a light colored surface so I can judge the proper stage of cooking.

I getting a phone holder today too! Thank you. Already have the iPad holder. I use it continuously. ❤️ Thanks again!

  6. Another vote for All-Clad! I have a very large set my husband gave me many years ago. It included 8″ and 10″ non stick skillets which I’ve replaced over the years. I don’t cook nearly as much as I used to and use about half of the pieces I have on a semi regular basis. The size set you are looking at would be close to perfect for me now. I do use the non stick for eggs routinely. I have never had a problem cleaning any of the stainless steel. I use just a touch of liquid Barkeepers’s Friend to get off any difficult stains and have never had any damage or loss of shine.
Thanks for the posts over the last two days – purchased the Bose headsets yesterday!

  7. My stainless steel All-Clad has been my favorite for years. I added to it over the years. I live not too far from the actual factory. They always had a semi-annual sale at the county fairgrounds – one of which was in December in PA ! Lines were always long but now it’s easy because they offer deals online. Whichever you choose it’s a really good brand. On occasion I have burnt the bottom of the pan because I’ve let something boil dry but always cleaned it up easily by removing the burnt food, adding water and a couple of tablespoons of baking soda and then boiling the burnt food off. I wouldn’t do that with the non-stick for fear of ruining the non-stick surface.

  8. I have 3 of the All Clad nonstick skillets in 2 sizes – 12″ and 2 of the 10″ and love them!!! I have thrown away all of our other nonstick skillets and I’m on the hunt for a nonstick wok! I use Magnalite for all else.

  9. Julie Huff says

I love my AllClad, and you can get the 7 pc set from their Website today for less than Amazon. I don’t care for non-stick, you have to baby it.

  10. Barbara Robinson says

I have the original but if I were to buy again it would definitely be nonstick. The stainless is much prettier but cleanup is much easier with the nonstick.

  11. I would definitely go with the All-Clad nonstick. If you don’t like to spend a lot of time in the kitchen cooking and cleaning up, this set is the set to get. I use the skillet almost every day and it cleans up like a dream! I’ve been using these pans for over 2 years and they still look new. I also never use metal utensils in my cookware, so no scratches or nicks.

  12. I don’t think you can go wrong with All-Clad stainless steel. I’ve bought two stainless steel frying pans (both were actually from Amazon from their “used – like new” feature). They are fantastic! If you end up going with them, you may want to get this set with liquid Bar Keepers Friend and a special cloth – look on Amazon for “Bar Keepers Friend Soft Cleanser and Non Scratch Heavy Duty Scouring cloth.” It’s amazing – my pans look like new after a quick clean with these.

  13. I have similar sets to both you have listed. I prefer the non stick when sautéing or frying I but the all clad for everything else.

  14. Having had both sets of cookware I would recommend the stainless set. The nonstick wears out and gets marks in the bottom even using wooden spoons etc. The stainless never wears out and easy to keep shiny. I do have three small nonstick pans I use everyday for things like eggs, one burger etc. and just replace once a year.

  15. Cheryl Frizzell says

I love the stainless. Do note that All Clad recommends washing the non-stick with soap and sponge, even though it is dishwasher safe. I have had to return 3 All Clad nonstick pans when the non-stick delaminated. Have to say they stand by their warranty as I was able to exchange the pans. I have a couple non-stick skillets but the majority of my pans are the stainless.

  16. All Clad all the way. I have purchased pieces of the D5 stainless when I remodeled my kitchen with a commercial grade stove. I have never found pan sets to suit my cooking needs. I have burnt things to the point of charcoal and the still come clean! With today’s Dawn Power Wash anything is easily cleaned. I still use a non stick skillet occasionally but overall prefer my stainless.

  17. Au contraire grandma. Once you live down the street from your grandsons, I think there will be more cooking. Did you purchase a grill yet for the newly cleared back yard ?
I don’t like to cook so I can’t give an honest opinion. I was in Good Will one day and they brought the most expensive cookware I have ever seen. Somebody lucked out.

  18. Irene Zak says

I love all my All-Clad stainless steel pots and pans. I never bought an entire set, just different pieces that I wanted when they went on sale at Williams Sonoma. Having everything non-stick is overkill. Plus, you should repurchase your non-stick cookware every 1- 2 years as the coating wears off and it is a health hazard.

  19. I love my All-Clad stainless as well. Started with a basic set; have added a couple of pieces along the way. I only have two of their pieces in non-stick, an 8 inch and 10 inch skillet, but I use those only occasionally. I use the 8 inch for omelets. But for things like grilled cheese, I really like the nice brown texture I get with the regular surface. If anything gets stuck on the stainless, a brief soak and a light scrub gets it right off. I’ve had mine for about 20 years and would buy it again.

  20. Whatever you decide I recommend a small non stick frying pan for cooking eggs. I gave everyone in my family the phone holder last Christmas. It was a big hit!

  21. Oh I forgot! If you try the stainless definitely go with the D3. I found the D5 WAY too heavy!!!

  22. Stainless steel !!! Love them then and love them now. Tough and clean up beautifully.

  23. I have had the Newenter weather station for about a year. It is great and I highly recommend it.

I'd love to hear from you! Please leave a comment!
