All this spring-like weather we’ve been having here put me in the mood to visit the Pottery Barn near my home to check out all their new spring goodies for the home and for the table. Spring has definitely hit there, too!
When I walked in the door, this was the first thing I saw. I always love to see what they will have displayed just inside the front door. Sometimes it’s a beautiful table setting or sometimes it’s a gorgeous holiday display. Whatever it is, it always stops me in my tracks.
This bedding ensemble shows so clearly how blue and white can be feminine or masculine, depending on the color of blue. This would easily work for a man or a woman.
Update: Just discovered Pottery Barn is having a 20% off sale: 20% off with the code, FRIENDS.
As I walked through Pottery Barn, I got the feeling that blue and white are going to be big this year. Everywhere I looked, I saw lots of blue and white on display.
PB is starting to get in their spring pillows, too. They had some really cute ones! There were too many to take photos of them all, so I’ll link to many of them at the end of this post so you can see them.
The spring tables they had set were enchanting! I am seriously thinking of buying some of these darling bunny plates.
Look at that froggy pitcher! Soo cute! Again, I’ll link to everything I saw at the end of this post so you can check it out.
Yep, don’t think I’m going to be able to resist the bunnies!
These floral salad plates were piled up in a tall stack on the table. I took one and tried it with the dinner plates and look how cute it is! They would also be stunning with white dinner plates! LOVE!
Pottery Barn has napkins to match, too!
They had a lot of new napkin rings in for spring.
I absolutely love these sweet little bird nest place cards! These would be perfect in any table setting for spring or summer.
Over in a display window, they had a beautiful spring/Easter table on display. I love the mercury glass eggs!
Sweet bunny plates and do you see the napkin rings?!
So, so cute!

I was surprised to see these coral glasses are already on sale since they are a summer item. They would be great for outdoor parties or pool parties.

Remember the Alpine Stag plates I used this past year in my Thanksgiving table?
They are also on sale.

I’ve linked to everything I saw and a few of the other things I’m crushing on at PB below. Click on any item and it should take you to that item.
I’m trying to choose between the bunny plates and the floral plates…I love them both!
Oh I love PB, and yes they always have an eye catching display front and center. I love all those bunnies and florals. Makes me want to set up for spring but I still have to get out a few valentines. Love the stag plates, I actually bought the comforter cover to use on my bed this winter. It is so pretty. Thanks for a little bit of spring…………..
That comforter is so pretty…bet it’s beautiful on your bed, Emily! Love blue and white!
Buy the Bunny plates!
🙂 I’m leaning toward those. Those flower plates are pretty cute, too. lol Torture!
I was there yesterday. everything there is so expensive – even when it is on sale. I do love the frog pitcher, though and I might have to go back and price that.
I love that frog pitcher!
Gah! Love all the PB things! Right after Christmas I bought several pillow covers – two you have pictured (Row 1 & 5, far L). I also bought one from the new Malibu patchwork line, but had to send back – it was stitched all wonky, not on a straight grain. Love the bunny dishes, but those spring blossoms are calling my name! What’d you buy? What’d you buy? Or, do you have to go home and think things through after the visual overload? I have to do that online (we don’t have PB near us, can you believe that??)
I didn’t buy anything, yet…couldn’t decide which ones to get. I guess I better not wait very long because their spring/Easter bunny stuff always sales out quickly.
Susan, I love a trip to PB. There is always inspiration waiting. Love the bunny plates! It’s a difficult decision between the two. If you already have lots of bunny plates, maybe the flowers should go home with you. That said, I find the bunnies in the flowers to be more charming than just the plate of flowers. Easter is early this year and will be here before we know it.
Love the toile plates. The web site only has the bowls. Did the store have more of a selection? I may check our PB.
Thanks, Sarah! The only bunny plates I currently have are all white, but I love them! I love those floral ones, too. PB has my number! lol They always have the cutest spring dishware!
Oh, forgot to answer about the plates. I didn’t see the toile while I was in there, just saw it on their site. I didn’t realize they only the bowls. I didn’t see it on the website, (but it might be there) but my store had a bunch of the Christmas village china in their “sale” area. I don’t remember the exact name of it but it showed that sweet Christmas village. I would have been tempted by that but I already have some very similar.
You MUST get the bunny plates, and I’m crushing on those bunny pillows, too!
I know…so many cute pillows today!
Oh, I love the Bunny Plates – I feel I should have a set of them, thanks for all this wonderful information. We have had such a wonderful day today, it feels like Spring and I am ready to decorate for Easter and Spring.
Have a wonderful weekend Susan.
Mary
I love those bunnies, too! I think they would be cute to use all spring and summer.
I purchased the frog pitcher to use on my screened porch this summer. Love going to to the Pottery Barn. Have a ice weekend.
Oh, he’s perfect for porch dining. 🙂
OMG, Susan, that bunny plate with the bunny who is staring directly forward is calling my name! I also love the nest placecards. And those pillow covers! I see a trip to PB in my future. Thanks for sharing. Rosie @ The Magic Hutch
lol Rosie, you sound like me when I was in there today!
So much to see. I wish there was a store close to me.
It’s dangerous, Marty! lol I also have a Williams Sonoma near me…it’s in the same shopping center. Double Trouble!
I love the bunny plates. Thank you for all the photos. I see a road trip in my future
Have fun, Theresa! I love, love, love this time of year because the spring things they carry are so refreshing after a long, cold winter.
I love Pottery Barn, I only wish we had one closer than two hours away. Maybe someday we will get one here or at least closer.
I can’t find the link that takes me to each item ?????
Hi Kathy, Are you able to see the pictures links at the end of the post? If so, just click on those and it will take you to the item. If you’re not able to see the links, your browser may need to be updated. I had a couple of folks recently who couldn’t see the party links at the end of the Tablescape Thursday post and it was because they hadn’t updated their browser in a while. If you want to try a new browser, I highly recommend Chrome, which is by Google. It works great!
Oh my Susan….sometimes you are such a bad influence!! LOL!!! Now I must get the mercury glass eggs on stands and they have the cutest Garden bunny cloche that will also be coming to my home!! So now you really must get those bunny plates!!
Michele
lol, I’ve been accused of that before! I love those eggs! I didn’t see the bunny cloche, will have to check that one out.
Love, love everything. And their stylists are the best. I see them working and always start up a conversation—it’s fascinating work.
Thanks for sharing the new items!!
Jane
A couple of years ago, I asked one of the employees at the PB near my home, who styled their tables. She said when new things come in, they are given specific diagrams/pictures showing how the tables are to be set. I was surprised to hear that, but I guess it makes it easy for them to create pretty tables without spending hours on each one. Whoever creates the original tables really does a nice job.
Those bunny napkin rings are so different and would pair well with bunny plates. Unless that would be bunny overload–nah, no such thing. I vote bunny plates. And a votive might look nice in the short coral glass. Thanks for taking us along on a PB field trip:)
lol Impossible to reach bunny overload status. That’s like having too much chocolate to eat. 😉 I like that idea for the votive!
I clicked on the mercury glass eggs below…and it appears they have only one size left, the small pink one to order…no larger sizes. Will they get more in before Easter? Hope so.
Sherry, I noticed it says just the small is left at the top, but when I scrolled down the page a little way, it’s shows the large silver egg is still available. Scroll down and see if you see that, too. It let me put the large silver one in my cart, so I think you can still buy that one. They are going fast! I can’t believe they have already sold out of the blue medium size one. Here’s the link to the page where I can see the large silver one still available: http://bit.ly/1L4MaBO
Love the versatility of blue and white. And I am all about that coral glassware that’s on sale. Is it crazy that I’ve been ogling this PB teen shelving unit. I just love the lines. http://www.pbteen.com/products/maison-bookcase/?pkey=cbookcases-shelves&cm_src=Quickbuy&sku=7952740&qty=1
I’m not sure where it will go, but I think I need it. LOL.
Wow, I’m surprised it’s on the PB teen site. It looks pretty sophisticated and even elegant, for a teen’s room. It has a chinoiserie feel/look…very pretty!
Please, tell us what you purchased!!!
I didn’t buy anything that day but I’m serious eyeing their bunny plates!
I love all their spring merchandise…of course that’s no surprise! I always love shopping there. I have been thinking about that blue and white bedding. It might be time to update mine!
Shelley
Oh dear, I already have three different sets of adorable bunny plates, but these new ones are stealing my heart! Rut-roah, I’m in trouble now…..
Love PB! Would love to be a fly on the wall when they do their tablescapes!
While searching the web, I found some whimsical bunny plates on World Market’s site. Haven’t seen them in person. Cute if you had grandkids?
Love PB they have some really nice things, thanks for sharing and letting me know i need to get there soon.
Susan I am obsessed with both Pottery Barn and William Sonoma and like you I am just a few miles away ..Yikes. I bought the Bunny Plates today!! What !! LOVE ..LOVE.. LOVE them .
Love the bunnies and that tooooo cute frog pitcher! Great ideas for spring.
Susan
Mix up the plates. Makes for interesting, conversation at the table.
I don’t go matchy matchy.
Live it up.
Terri
Susan, I, too, am a PB lover! I bought that froggy pitcher and the bunny plates in the middle – the ones with the green under the bunnies. I got the burlap bunny ear napkin rings. I liked that they added beading all around them this year. I am having my supper club here in in March and have the option of a St. Patrick’s Day, Easter or spring table. Decisions!! =)
I was at TJMaxx and HG today and saw mercury glass eggs there too. I saw the standing and sitting ceramic bunnies on the PB site but they won’t open the STANDING one for me! I love that bunny and WANT it but can’t get to it???? UGH!!!
Pinky, clear the cache on your browser, that may fix it.
What’s not to love about PB?? Every Spring they bring out the blue and white, esp. the navy blue. Love all the new plates, and how fun to mix them up!! I get all their catalogs, but nothing compares to walking into that store!!!
Now, will you show us your purchases??? ………xoxo
Ooooh, so cute…bring on spring!! We’re in FL now and it is just…right!! 🙂 franki
The bunny plates arrived yesterday (Would have bought them instore, but they didn’t have them when I was there.) Love! Love! Love! I felt so righteous that I only bought those. But then a friend asked me if I’d bought this or that. Weakening.
Sounds familiar! The spring dishware gets me every year! How can we resist bunnies! Futile to even try. lol
Oh my goodness! After reading your post I need to get to a Pottery Barn soon. I love the dishes and the nest place cards. Thanks Susan.
