Welcome to the 651st Tablescape Thursday, a blog party sharing beautiful table settings for all occasions!
This Saturday will be the official first day of spring! I know we may have some chilly days still ahead, but I can’t help but get excited that spring is almost here! This week I put together a lighthearted table that would work well for spring or for Easter.
I’ve been looking forward to using this bunny vase I purchased recently in a spring table and today was the day!
I love this vase so much! I’m going to keep it out and use it all spring and summer. (Bunny vase is available here: Bunny Flower Vase.)
I picked up a bouquet of flowers yesterday while shopping in Trader Joe’s. They had a big variety available so it was hard to choose.
I brought out my cute little bunny egg cups purchased from Pottery Barn (I think) many years ago. I guess that sorta makes this a breakfast table setting or perhaps we could tuck a chocolate or candy egg under there and have it be our dessert.
Here’s a better photo of one of the egg cups from a previous table setting.
The chargers are by Spode and were designed by Kim Parker. The pattern is Emma’s Garden. I found those in Marshall’s many years ago.
The bunny plates are from Pier 1 a couple of years ago. They were one of the last things I purchased before the Pier 1 stores closed. Every time I use something I purchased from Pier 1 in a table setting, I feel a twinge of sadness. I’ve bought so many wonderful things from Pier 1 over the years, including the majority of the furniture on my screened porch. Why does it always seem that the good stores end up closing? I hope one day Pier 1 stores miraculously come back, that would be amazing! Shopping Pier 1 online just isn’t the same. I always loved checking everything out in the store.
Here’s a better view of the chargers. I believe the glasses were a find in HomeGoods, if I’m remembering correctly. I love the look of this dark green bamboo flatware in this setting. It works really well with both the chargers and the bunny plates.
The green and white gingham napkins and the darker green napkins were from Pier 1, as well as the hydrangea napkin rings. There’s that twinge again. :/
Not the best view from overhead, one of the lampshades got in my way. lol
Happy, Happy Spring to you!

If you are participating in Tablescape Thursday, please be sure to add your permalink below, and not your general blog address. To get your permalink, click on your post name, then copy and paste the address showing in the address bar, into the “url” box when you link up. You’ll need to include a link in your post back to the party to link up and participate.
That’s so visitors to your blog will be able to find the party and the other Tablescape Thursday participants. Requiring a link back also prevents businesses and scammers from linking up to sell their products. (Yep, that really happens, unfortunately.) If you see a post that’s not table setting related, let me know and I’ll remove it.
Please, don’t add your post name/blog name ALL IN CAPS…it tends to create big spaces between the rows of links.
This party has ended, click button below for the links to all who participated.
What a HapPy SPring table, Susan! The adorable bunny centerpiece of flowers tops off those cute plates and chargers and coordinate all so well together. I won a set of Kim Parker Provence Garden dishes that I love to break out in spring and use everyday. They worked well with a similar bunny salad I found at HL last year. I feel similar pangs of sadness when I use my Pier 1 items too. I check their online offerings every now and then in hopes they will improve, but so far I’m not impressed. I am so enjoying all the spring tables I’m seeing. Thank you for the continued party.
What a cheerful table! It’s a cold, rainy day here, so perfect timing. Sunny warm weather moves in early next week. Where will you keep the bunny vase out all spring and summer? Kitchen? Entry? Everywhere!
I think I’ll keep it either on the breakfast table, breakfast table or on the corner of my kitchen island. It will probably get moved around a bit. It’s just too cute to pack away. Happy Spring, Mia! So glad you have warm weather coming in. I have the breakfast door standing open today to the screened porch, it’s so nice out!

Thanks so much, Rita! Wow, that’s awesome that you won a set of KP dishes. Her patterns are sooo pretty! I know, I hope it improves, too.
What a beautiful, but fun and festive table setting Susan! I so love that bunny vase, the flowers are so beautiful in it. Those little bunny egg cups are so cute too as are the plates and chargers. Very springy, very festive and very fun! Hugs, Brenda
Thanks so much, Brenda! Hope you are see spring weather your way!

That green bamboo flatware! And those covered egg cups! I wish I had access to a TJ close by for flower shopping! Agree w/ Rita that on-line Pier 1 is a sad substitute for the stores. I’ve been very unimpressed & miss them, too. Thank you for the Spring Happy this morning!
Absolutely adorable! It makes me wish I was having a full table of company for Easter. Next year will be different. This was lovely to look at, though!
I totally agree about Pier 1. The online store quality of products is just not the same, not nearly as good.
Your table is lovely as isual and
Love the bunny vase, and oh how I miss Pier 1 too! I also love your sweet bunny plates and flower chargers, adorable! Thanks Susan, yay Spring!
The table is gorgeous!! But I think I NEED those covered egg cups – so unique! Has anyone seen them for sale recently? Thanks for sharing.
I’m a sucker for anything “bunny” too! I immediately ordered this precious vase as soon as I saw your post earlier in the week. Thanks for sharing!
Good Morning, Susan!
The table looks so beautiful. I love the egg cups. My very adult boys still remember how I used to make eggs for them in an egg cup with strips of toast to dip in the egg yolk.
Spring is just around the corner…enjoy the nice weather predicted for this weekend!
The chargers look like they were made for the bunny plates!
Your plates and chargers are gorgeous! All the vibrant colors make me so excited for the arrival of spring. I love how you added the green checked napkins too. They all tie together beautifully! Thanks for hosting and happy almost-spring!
Shelley
Love the table setting!! I agree with you about Pier 1. Miss it terribly!
Thanks for sharing today!
Love your new bunny vase – that whiteware is so gorgeous! (I miss Pier 1 too.) Thanks for the lovely spring ideas – off to TJ’s for some flowers! Happy Thursday!
A prefect tablescape for Spring!
That table is wonderful! If I had to describe the feeling it evokes, I’d go with joy. 🙂
Absolutely darling table!!! Pier 1 things are still available on line!!!
Beautiful tale to celebrate spring.
All the colors of the bouquet are in the place setting. So pretty and a definition of Spring. It’s dreary today so your table is a welcomed day brightener.
Love the table setting. TJ’s always has such great flowers. I know it was hard to choose. And the Pier1 bunny plates look like they were made to go with the chargers. Ready for Spring here too. Have a great day.
Lovely table and thanks so much for another party to share our tables. I look forward to it every week. Enjoy your day. XO- MaryJo
Every time you use those napkins or glasses, my eyes zoom right in. I love that green! So fresh and Spring-y. Aww, you are such a softy for the bunnies, Susan. That vase is right up your alley. 😀
This is such a pretty tablescape Susan. I love the bunny cups – have never seen those before – and the chargers look like they were made to go with the bunny plates! I love how the dark green flatware looks too. Just lovely.
I feel the same way Susan, so sad that Pier 1 closed. Browsing online is not the same.
Susan, you always do such a great job at color coordinating your table settings! I love your new bunny vase, and since bunnies are out most of the year, why not display it past Easter. The hydrangea napkin ring is beautiful! Hugs!
The bunny vase is gorgeous !
Those napkin rings are adorable too. Your Easter-Spring tablescape is beautiful. Great job Susan.
Thank you for hosting this unique tablescape party I love,
Fabby
Great table Susan, your new bunny vase is a hit for sure, I would keep it out well into summer also. I really like the green checkered napkins and the green goblets. Every year I wait to see you display the large egg that opens up like a pocket watch, or is it a bunny holding the egg / pocket watch, (?), I forget now, but I like it and wish I had one. I have never seen anything even close to it, but I keep watching for one. Please show it again this year. The weather has been terrific here the last couple of days so I’ve been out in the yard and now am behind in my reading. We got out our picnic table and chairs today and it is for sure beginning to look and feel like Spring! Yippee!
