Tablescaping with Blue Willow

Welcome to the 37th Tablescape Thursday!

I can’t help myself…when it’s this nice outside, all my tablescapes end up here on the porch.

The trees are all dressed in their best spring-green…

I’m using my Churchill Blue Willow this evening…

Salad plates are by Gibson…it’s part of a large set from Big Lots…

White chargers are from Horchow online…Neiman Marcus had them, also.

Ooops, forgot to take a pic of the Napoleon Bee flatware…so I snagged this pic from a previous tablescape.

Wine glasses were only a $1 each from Dollar Tree…that’s 6 glasses for $6!

Crystal is Araglin by Waterford…if you didn’t know better, would you have ever guessed the wine glasses were only a $1 each? They are proudly holding their own next to the Waterford.

Cock-a-doodle-doo! Found this darling pitcher at Marshalls…didn’t buy it the first time through. When I went back a couple of weeks later, he was marked down to $10! He jumped right into my buggy! He was so happy someone finally bought him and took him home, he’s been crowing ever since!

I filled him with irises from the garden and their sweet scent was wonderful on the porch this evening.

A final glance as the light begins to wane.

It’s a little darker out now and the soft candlelight begins to give the table a look of enchantment. Won’t be long before our froggy serenade begins.

Thanks so much for stopping by this evening!

Your table, as always is beautiful. That rooster is sure handsome and, of course, I copied the link for the lantern. You should get a commission on sales!

As always so beautiful this time of the evening to have your tablescape on the porch. This is lovely and the rooster pitcher; yes I got one from my sister some weeks ago when she was out shopping. He’s in the kitchen somewhere I’m sure he’s not crowing tonight. It’s still kind of cold here and rainy.

Ohhh myyy…yet another fabulous tablescape, my friend!!! You know…I don’t blame you at all for wanting to do your tablescapes out on your porch…if I had a porch like yours…I’d be living out there! hehe!!! No, seriously!!! You have created such a beautiful room with such a sweet atmosphere!!! I love your pretty Churchill Blue Willow china…it looks absolutely stunning with that gorgeous white charger and salad plate!!! I sure would like to pick up a set of those white dishes from Big Lots…but all of my shopping is about 2 1/2 hrs. away. Oh yes, shopping is a rare occasion for me! All we have is a Walmart and it’s still 25 mls. away! I live in the boondocks Girl!!! I think that I’ve finally decided to quit buying entire sets of dishes…I’ve just run out of room to store them (hmmm, of course there is the upstairs…wink!) But I think I’ll just concentrate on buying different little salad/dessert plates that I can interchange with the sets that I already have!

I just love your new rooster pitcher…he’s so charming and at $10? what a buy!!! Your colorful iris looks beautiful with the white of the pitcher! Oooh…I’m also really loving your new frenchy lantern!!! I clicked on the link…they have already sold out of it! It’s gorgeous though and makes for a perfect centerpiece!!! Your table is just perfect, my friend!!! I can hardly wait for Thursdays to check out your tablescapes!!! hehe!!!
