This sweater has a unique design—it’s white on one side and has this pretty, neutral palm design on the other side. I love how it looks from the front, as well as from the side/back shown in this photo. The neutral color makes it super easy to pair with almost anything, but I especially love it with white pants for summer. I’m a huge fan of shorts designed with a scalloped leg. I have several Talbot’s shorts from years past that are designed this way, and I still wear them every summer. They are my favorite! I find a scalloped leg to be so much more flattering than a straight cut leg. These are embroidered with a pretty blue and white design that feels nautical to me, almost like an old-world compass. This looks like the perfect outfit to wear to the beach, doesn’t it? I love the vivid red color! This would be a great outfit to pull on over a bathing suit when it’s time to leave the beach and head home or out to a casual, beachy restaurant for some great seafood. Another style that I always look for at Talbots is their denim jeans that have a little something extra going on. I have bought so many over the years—denim jeans with tiny umbrellas sprinkled over them, jeans with tiny velvet bows, or even jeans with small, gem-encrusted buttons down around the hem. I always get so many compliments on my Talbot jeans. I had several comments this spring when I wore my dark denim jeans that are covered in tiny, velvet bows. I really like these because they have an all-over floral pattern that I have a feeling would be very flattering on. As I’ve mentioned before, I often find pants with all-over designs like this to be quite slimming. It’s like the pattern somehow fools the eye and magically takes off a few inches.
