Dining Poolside for Christmas

Welcome to the 637th Tablescape Thursday, a blog party sharing beautiful table settings for all occasions!

Jackie, whose beautiful tables I’ve shared before here at Between Naps On The Porch, recently set a wonderfully festive, holiday table outdoors. Jackie said, “This is the perfect setting for the Holiday Meal – outdoor dining social distancing with your family. (Hopefully the weather will cooperate – you never know in Texas one day 40 the next 78!”

Christmas Dining Poolside

How fun would it be to live where you can dine outdoors for Christmas! You definitely can’t do that here in Georgia at Christmastime, maybe once in a blue moon.

Dine Poolside for Christmas

Love this Poinsettia and berry pattern, perfect for dining outdoors or in a garden! Jackie said, “The dishes are Gibson, Poinsettia Happy Holidays. I originally purchased them at Home Goods and have been searching for them ever since. I would love to have service for 12 and only have service for 8. The only place I can find them is at Replacements, LTD. I especially love the mugs that they came with and use them for my coffee every morning starting in November. These dishes are always the set that bring me into the Christmas spirit!”

Jackie found the red napkins in a favorite store in Dallas. Flatware was purchased from Wayfair. It may be currently out of stock but when in stock, you’ll find it here: Stainless Flatware.

The red stemware works so well with the red Poinsettia and Berry design. The red wine glasses are acrylic so safe around a pool. Jackie found those in HomeGoods a few years back. These are similar: Ruby Goblets. These would be beautiful for indoor dining or when you’re not worried about breakage: Red Goblets.

Jackie said she found her chargers in Walmart but similar ones are available in Michaels. Hard to see but the chargers have a pine cone design on them.

I don’t think I’ve ever shared a holiday table set outdoors for Tablescape Thursday. I can just imagine it lit by candlelight at nighttime–that would be so pretty!

Thanks so much to Jackie for sharing this beautiful, unique Christmas table setting with me so I could share it with you for this week’s Tablescape Thursday!

Tablescape Thursday

If you are participating in Tablescape Thursday, please be sure to add your permalink below, and not your general blog address. To get your permalink, click on your post name, then copy and paste the address showing in the address bar, into the “url” box when you link up. You’ll need to include a link in your post back to the party to link up and participate.

That’s so visitors to your blog will be able to find the party and the other Tablescape Thursday participants. Requiring a link back also prevents businesses and scammers from linking up to sell their products. (Yep, that really happens, unfortunately.) If you see a post that’s not table setting related, let me know and I’ll remove it.

Please, don’t add your post name/blog name ALL IN CAPS…it tends to create big spaces between the rows of links.

Please link up table setting or table setting related posts only for Tablescape Thursday.

  1. Jackie’s table is lovely and festive. When I lived outside of Columbus, GA, I remember one year when we ate Thanksgiving dinner outside on our patio, with all the bedding plants still in full bloom. But now I’m in the north GA mountains and no, we usually can’t eat Christmas dinner outside. This year, I kind of hope we can, with all the COVID issues we are facing. “If I could, I surely would” set up my table outside like Jackie did!

  5. Jackie’s table is so pretty and festive. I just love red!! I can’t even imagine what it would be like to set a Christmas table for outdoor dining. How fabulous is that! Thanks, as always, for hosting.

How very special, poolside dinning, love it! Brings back great memories of when I lived in the Dallas area. Those red goblets look great with the pretty festive plates. Awesome!
