Welcome to the 782nd Tablescape Thursday! I had planned to share a new table this week, but as the time grew closer, my mind was way too preoccupied with a major home update that was supposed to begin yesterday. At the last minute, the company doing the work had to reschedule to start tomorrow. My yard right now is littered with red, orange, and yellow flags from the various utility companies. I’ll be sharing this big (and unfortunately, expensive) update with you very soon because I think it’s something that you may possibly find helpful.
In the meantime, how about a little autumnal inspiration from the past. As I worked on this post this morning, seeing all the beautiful fall colors in each of the tables has me really yearning to do some fall decorating. Hope you enjoy these three tables from the past. Hello Susan, I love the look of blue and white mixed with orange. Your tablesetting is beautiful with your blooming pumpkin centerpiece. I agree the wood chargers add a nice contrast to the more formal china. As always, your tablescapes are stunning!
Thanks so much, Pam! ♥ Happy Autumn to you!
Beautiful !
Thanks, Nancy!

Just the sound of all the flags makes me think this is going to be expensive! Yikes! But hopefully once it is done, all will be well.
Love the fall tables, they are so beautiful, fun and whimsey. Fall is such a gorgeous time of year….it’s what follows that I wish was shorter for me. LOL
Hugs,
Brenda
Yes! Something I’ve put off but it’s time to get it done. I’ll share more real soon on that.
Thanks so much, Brenda! I’m starting to warm up to the idea of fall…hard to let go of summer, though. I agree…can’t we just go straight from fall to spring?!
I love your autumn banner for your blog! I always wanted Blue Willow dishes but think I have enough dishes now….maybe someday..Ha!
Thanks, Sheri! It was time to change it out. 🙂
I lucked out collecting the Blue Willow. Many, many years ago, Publix had a promotion where if you spent a certain amount on groceries (seems like it was around $25) you could purchase a dinner plate with a cup/saucer for $2.50. I was in there several times a week hitting the required spend in order to collect 12 place settings, Sugar/Creamer, bowls, and a bunch of the serving pieces. I wish they would do that again with a red/white dinnerware or a green/white dinnerware pattern! Or, even a wonderful Christmas pattern! They ran that promotion for several months and I definitely stocked as much as I could while it was going on.
Oh I LOVE Mr Turkey! So nice to see him again, and your other tables too. Although I’m a summer girl up one side and down the other, I do like the fall decorating, and the beautiful leaves and pumpkins! I’m curious about your big project, and I’m sending opening-day wishes for a fast and easy job! Thanks so much for hosting, and good luck!
Thanks, Barbara! I hope you’re having a wonderful end to summer. I’m starting to not dread fall so much. lol I’m a summer girl, too!
Susan, I just love these tablescapes. Blue and orange works so well together. My attention is now turning from gardening back to tablescaping and cake decorating. The gardens here in Maine are dying back and the first frosts/freezes are just around the corner.
