Gifts Any Woman Would Love, Even The Picky Ones!

Update: If you have trouble seeing the links below, please exit out of the post and load it again to see if that corrects the problem.

Recently, I shared a few items that I thought would be much-appreciated stocking stuffers this year. If you missed that post, you’ll find it here: Stocking Stuffers They’ll Love on Christmas Day.

Today I thought I’d share a few goodies that I think would make wonderful gifts for the women in your life. Many of these I have, some I wish I had and some I’ve ordered and am awaiting their arrival.

I’ve always wanted a good clothing steamer and gifted myself one this year. It just arrived today. It has awesome reviews so I can’t wait to give it a try.

In addition to getting out wrinkles from clothes, I know it will be so helpful when I’m setting the table and realize at the last minute the tablecloth or napkins are wrinkled. Something tells me this little guy will see a ton of use. It’s available here: Clothes Steamer. You’ll also find it shown below in my Gift List.

Also, a BNOTP reader emailed me recently because she was trying to find the L.L. Bean raccoon slippers I have and have blogged about in the past. Unfortunately, they were sold out when she emailed but I noticed tonight they are back in stock!

They also have them with other little creatures. My grandsons love them and think they are hilarious. My daughter-in-law has the cat pair. 🙂 They are currently on sale, 25% off, but only through tonight. Hope this post gets to you in time to catch the sale if they were on your wish list. These adorable critter scuffs are available here: Critter Scuffs.

Many of the items I’ve linked to below are on sale right now, some as much as 40%. I love a good sale!

Hope everyone is able to view the links. If you can’t see the links, please make sure your browser is up to date or perhaps try on a different computer or device.

If you have any questions about the items I’ve mentioned that I own in the captions below each item, please let me know in a comment and I’m happy to answer those. Happy Christmas-Holiday Shopping!

Pssst: I will continue to add to this list as I find items I think would make wonderful gifts.

Here we go again with the round and round the mulberry bush symbol, but no gift pics. I wonder what causes it for some of us…at least three that I saw on the last gift post. One had Chrome, one Safari, and myself, I.E., so there was no browser disconnection.

    • I have no idea what would be causing it. One person who was having trouble seeing the links on her computer but was able to see them without any problem when she brought them up on her iPad with the Safari browser. That’s why I’m thinking it’s a setting or issue with the computer or browser

      • Regality (aka The Quing) says

Was it a desktop or a laptop computer you were having issues with? And from which are you posting?

        • I wasn’t having the issue, one of the BNOTP readers was having a problem seeing the links. Then she switched to an iPad and could see all the links. So apparently, it was something with her computer that was preventing her from seeing all the picture links.

        • Is there someone you can have take a look to see if your browser if up to date…or if there’s a setting that’s preventing the photos from loading?

    • @Regality: I found that even the latest version of Internet Explorer wouldn’t open them so presuming that you are using a desk top computer you may wish to; download Google ‘Chrome’, place its shortcut on your screen, restart your computer then navigate (to Susan’s blog) strictly using it. Hope this helps. -Brenda-

So many great gift ideas! I’m really liking those hoop earrings, especially in the rose-gold. May just have to gift myself! Hehe Hope your steamer does the job! Many years ago, (gosh, way back in my 20’s, yikes) I took on a second job in the evenings, part-time to build up my savings and worked in a very nice ladies dress shop. I used a commercial type steamer and it was awesome, so easy to use and really did a great job. As for saving extra money, well, it was pretty hard to do when I saw a really cute outfit or dress as we were given a good discount! Needless to say, I really was well dressed and fashionable while I worked there, and the savings account only increased moderately. Lol

  3. I’ve been looking for a good steamer for awhile. Cant wait to hear how you like yours. I have a hand held one that does ok but not great for tablecloths.

    • I have a hand held one, too. It works fine, the only thing is it doesn’t hold a lot of water. This one appears to hold a lot more which I really like. I’ll let you know Alison how I like it after I have a chance to use it. I’m optimistic since the reviews look really good.

  4. I like the way you think!!! franki

  5. I am going to try the steamer – thanks for the tip. On an unrelated subject, are you still riding your Peloton? Would be great if you could do a post about how often you ride, how you stay engaged/mix it up? I have had one for about a month and love it – just hoping to maintain my enthusiasm.

    • Yes, I do, but I’m not doing classes as much as I was. I like to mix things up, I attach my iPad to the handlebars with this: https://amzn.to/2QRLcG4 and sometimes run a “scenic” ride in the background while I watch a movie or show on Acorn. I still stand up and do intervals to get my heart rate up when I do that. My dil rides her bike every single day and takes the classes each time. She loves it so much, she even rides when she’s sick with a cold, which I don’t recommend. I do love it!

      • I would fine it difficult to ride every day. I am aiming for 4 a week, and sometimes that’s hard. Maybe I should do shorter rides :-).

  6. Just love your gift ideas! I went back through your posts already for gifts and products you like. Found quite a few that I am ordering. Love the little bath toy ferry boat with cars for my grandson who is crazy about cars. In this post, I use the Blue Sky planners and they are great. Thank you for the ideas!

    • Thanks, Sandy! When I create my “Gifts for Kids” post, I’m definitely going to include that one. My grandsons love it and still play with it. It’s has lasted well through two active boys who love their bath time. lol I know your grandson will love it as much as mine have.

  7. Ohhhh, that planner might get you in trouble! Check out some YouTube videos about planners. It gets almost cult like with all the stickers, Washi tape, page markers, etc. I’m hooked on Traveler’s Notebooks and am starting one for my London trip next August/September. Mine is passport sized. Merry Christmas!

  8. I looked at those slippers last night in their catalog. Unfortunately, they don’t have a fox, my friend’s latest thing. When the manufacturer says they will give you a steamer for a givaway, let us know. We all want one for ourselves.
Did you feel the earthquake today ? Stay warm everybody.

    • Yup, it woke me up from a sound sleep at 4:15 AM. I couldn’t go back to sleep so I’m exhausted right now. Going to bed very soon. Hope you’re staying warm Myrna!

  9. Great list, Susan! Pinned a number of things for future reference as I think with the exception of a few little odds ‘n ends, I am pretty well finished my Xmas shopping. -Brenda-
P.S.: Am glad its completed since our Canadian Postal Service workers are on rotating strike that’s particularly affecting the delivery of parcels however am feeling sorry for those who have to rely on them like small businesses, overseas deliveries etc.

  10. As always you have simply wonderful recommendations! I, too, have several pairs of Sloggers and absolutely LOVE them! Thanks so much for your terrific blog and insightful thoughtful information…..Merry Christmas to you and your family!!!

I'd love to hear from you! Please leave a comment!
