Did you know the wonderfully talented Interior Designer, Bunny Williams authored a gardening book? She did! When I discovered this a few years ago, I was so excited I immediately ordered her book based solely on how much I had loved her book, An Affair With A House.
In the BNOTP Library: On Garden Style
Author: Bunny Williams
Hardcover: 288 pages
Book Size: 9.3 x 9.4 x 1
3 Things I Like About This Book:
- You hear about Bunny’s first experience in gardening when she and her husband, John rented a cottage in Connecticut. She knew nothing about gardening in those days and hearing her first attempts at gardening makes you feel, if she can do it, so can you!
- I was tickled when I came across a garden in this book that I’ve visited many, many times over the years, the garden of Ryan Gainey here in Atlanta.
- This book contains lots of practical advice about garden design. Some of the chapters cover garden walls, the garden floor, passageways, container gardening, garden furniture, the kitchen garden and fireside gardening. The very first part of the book deals with how to get started creating your garden and how to find your personal style.

I had no idea, I certainly love the work I’ve seen of hers via Veranda Magazine. Just gorgeous! Thank you for the information!
I bought this book too for the same reason! It is enjoyable to read and see the beautiful garden areas she shows. I’d love to spend a month with her on one of her projects!
