This morning I took you on a tour of Ryan Gainey’s beautiful garden in Atlanta. The book I’m sharing today takes you back into Ryan’s garden for a much more in-depth look, as well as into his cottage-style home for a look at how he sets the table for a dinner party.
In the BNOTP Library: The Well-Placed Weed: The Bountiful Garden of Ryan Gainey
Author: Ryan Gainey
Hardcover: 176 pages
Book Size: 11.3 x 8.8 x 0.9
3 Things I Like About This Book:
- This book is divided into four parts: Fulfillment, Appreciation, Reflection and Contentment. There’s a section devoted to just the sunflower. You feel Ryan’s passion and love for gardening throughout, there’s even a bit of poetry mixed in.
- Ryan loves creating beautiful table settings and entertaining, so in addition to all the beautiful garden imagery, we’re treated to several tablescapes including a Christmas setting.
- It’s fun seeing Ryan’s garden over the years including some of the very early stages. We get a peek inside his greenhouse at Christmastime!
