Since today is the last day of the Prime Day sales, I’ve been checking out the deals today and have stocked up on several items that I order on a regular basis. Before we get to those, these beautiful solar lights that I have along my walkway in Georgia are currently part of the Prime Day Sales.

If you need a safe way to store your batteries, I can’t say enough good things about this battery organizer! I purchased it after reading an article about a guy who always recycled his batteries. He always stored them in a bag in the garage until he could take them in for recycling. His house caught fire and burned down, and the firemen traced it back to two 9-volt batteries that were touching inside the bag in the garage. That made me think about the batteries I had rolling around in a kitchen drawer, and I immediately bought an organizer. As soon as I moved into the Dollhouse, I bought one for that house, too. I’ve shared about this toilet cleaning system before. I like it because I can’t bear the thought of storing a yucky, used toilet brush in a closet or under a sink. I love this system since you just press a button to release the cleaning sponge/scrubber into a trash can when you’re done, so all you store away is the handle inside the caddy. I just reordered the cleaning sponges since they are currently on sale. With 4 bathrooms in the Dollhouse, I like having this system available in every bathroom. After I moved into the Dollhouse, I purchased these timers for some of the lamps in various rooms around the house. They are so easy and fast to set, I ended up purchasing them for the Georgia house, too. I love how on super cloudy days, I can press the “Mode” button and the light will come on and stay on until I press it again to put it back on its regular “timer” setting. When I stopped coloring my hair to let it grow out, I was amazed to find how baby soft hair can be when it’s not being dyed. Thankfully, I have thick hair, because non-colored hair is finer in texture. I’ve found that in the summer, it doesn’t matter as much; I guess the humidity in the air helps with the texture, but in the winter, the static drives me bonkers. Rusk is amazing! It has given me back the texture and fullness that I liked about my colored hair. Tip: A little goes a long way, so don’t overspray it or you may find your hair thicker than you want. After I wash my hair, just before blow-drying it, I use about 5-7 sprays all over my head, lifting up sections of hair as I spray, and that works great. Love it and am so glad to have discovered it! I just shared these a month or two back when I purchased them to wear this summer. I’ve worn a thicker version of this sock for winter, but wanted something more lightweight for summer. If you’re going to be doing some traveling this summer, I highly recommend a Travelon bag. They make a ton of different styles, and many of them are on sale right now for Prime Day.
They are designed with pockets inside that are lined in such a way that they are RFID Protected, so a bad guy with a scanner can’t steal your credit card or passport info. Update: After ordering this dress in green and loving it, I reordered it in bright blue and bright pink.
The pink fits perfectly and is adorable! I love the color! Unfortunately, the bright blue dress was a bit too tight across the top, so it will have to go back, but the color was beautiful! I just ordered this dress again in two more colors: the soft blue and the light pink. Again, I went with the same size that I have in the green and bright pink. I mean, when will I ever again find a beautiful, fully-lined, cotton, eyelet dress for $22?! You can’t even buy a shirt for that these days! Imagine getting 4 beautiful dresses for under $100! The Travelon bags are great! I bought one 9 years after your recommendation before my trip to New Zealand and knowing I would be in many airports. I’ve used for every trip since then. Last week when I was on another tour, there were quite a few of us all using the Travelon bags. One of the ladies even pointed at mine and said she almost brought it too, but was using another style. Can’t recommend them highly enough!
