Welcome to the 876th Tablescape Thursday! When I’m dreaming up a new tablescape, it makes me silly happy when I discover I have the perfect napkins for the table I want to set. I have been known to set a table almost to completion, but then completely change my mind when I realize I don’t have napkins that work for the table. Because of their placement on the table, sometimes atop the salad plate, napkins are often one of the first things you notice after the centerpiece. So I’m always keeping my eye out for colorful, unique napkins that are reasonably priced. I still haven’t used these pizza napkins in a table setting yet. I need to do that! I have used the bees and the sunflower napkins several times, though.

You may recall seeing the cute bee napkins in this table setting in February of last year, when I was craving spring and celebrating a much-needed sunny day! (See more of this tablescape here: Celebrating the Coming of Spring with a Table Full of Sunshine.)

If you would like to make a bee skep for your spring/summer tables, you’ll find a detailed tutorial sharing how I made this one here: Make a Decorative Bee Skep.

They also made an appearance in another spring table setting in 2023. I noticed today that the bee napkins are currently part of the Prime Day sale that’s going on right now. You’ll find them on sale here: Bee Napkins. (See more of that tablescape here: Celebrating Our Early Spring Weather with a Bee Themed Table Setting.)

Another favorite napkin that I’ve used in several tablescapes is the sunflower napkin, pictured below.

I love sunflowers, so these sunflower napkins are a favorite!

They are also on sale today; you’ll find them on sale here: Sunflower Napkins.

These tropical leaf napkins are on sale today, too. I don’t think I’ve used them in a table setting yet, but I love their tropical jungle vibe. You’ll find those available here: Tropical Napkins.

Looking forward to the beautiful table settings linked for this week’s Tablescape Thursday!

If you are participating in Tablescape Thursday, please be sure to add your permalink below, and not your general blog address. To get your permalink, click on your post name, then copy and paste the address showing in the address bar, into the “url” box when you link up. You’ll need to include a link in your post back to the party to link up and participate. That’s so visitors to your blog will be able to find the party and the other Tablescape Thursday participants. Requiring a link back also prevents businesses and scammers from linking up to sell their products. Please, don’t add your post name/blog name ALL IN CAPS…it tends to create big spaces between the rows of links. Please do not link up table settings that were just recently shared in the last few weeks for Tablescape Thursday.

We are always tempted by pretty.
I love the big hotel size napkins. If you have a sewing machine that embroideres, you can add any design. I am not so talented to paint them.
I think a blogger should start a site where aging seniors and those downsizing can offer our pretties for sale- among friends.
That’s brilliant Myrna!! Hmmm now I’m thinking. Thanks for the great and practical idea!
Your tables are always pretty. I’d love to see you start a collection of beautiful tablecloths. They add a whole different vibe to a table. There is an IG account I’m addicted to called @addicticedtochina and the tablecloths she uses are to die for. They set the whole stage.
I do like them for a few tables but they can be so busy. I prefer no tablecloth for most of my tables, but I have used them in the past.
I am addicted to Pinterest. There is one table that has the Zebra skin table topper that is stunning. There are vases with big green leaves. I believe the plates are black with lime colored napkins. Beautiful contrast. “Pati’s Pin House”
Susan, maybe one Thursday, it can be about tablecloths.
Love all your fun napkins! I haven’t branched out too much in that direction yet, but you’re inspiring me – especially those pizza ones! Thanks as always for the inspiration and the party. Take care and Happy Thursday!
Do you have the link to the green checker napkins? I love that color green!
I was having trouble remembering where I bought those, but I found an older post/tablescape where I once used them, and in it, I mentioned that they were from Pier 1. I miss Pier 1 so much!
You can see that older post where I used them here: https://betweennapsontheporch.net/spode-emmas-garden-spring-table-setting-with-williams-sonoma-bunny-vase/
Pier 1 still has a presence online, but it’s just not the same as shopping in their store.
I have those same pizza napkins! I also purchased the pizza napkin rings (I don’t see them anymore) and they are super cute. Of course, I have yet to set a table with them, because when we order pizza, everyone just grabs the paper plates and starts munching out immediately!!
I just saw a reel that immediately made me think of you! It’s the most beautiful blue and white tablescape made by a young man for his grandmother. I hope the link works! I wish I could grow beautiful hydrangeas like the ones in the video but alas I live in central Texas. Enjoy!
