Welcome to the 640th Tablescape Thursday, a blog party sharing beautiful table settings for all occasions!
Jackie shared so many beautiful tables with me this season, I loved, loved, loved her cozy kitchen table!
When I saw her beautiful dining room table setting, I knew it would be perfect to share with you for New year’s Eve! It’s absolutely stunning!
Jackie dressed the chandelier with Poinsettias and gold bead garland. This table is so elegant with just the right amount of glitz and glam, it would be beautiful for New Year’s Eve dinner.
Jackie shared, “I spent a lot of time this season watching decorating shows–one of my favorites was Holiday Home Makeover with Mr. Christmas on Netflix.”
“It was only 4 episodes but I did pick up several ideas and they are such heartfelt shows. I picked up the candy cane idea on the plate from one of the Mr. Christmas shows. I added the Christmas ball to tie in the gold theme in the room. Both items I picked up at the Dollar Tree.”
Jackie’s beautiful china is Lenox, Eternal. Jackie said, “I love this china for the holidays. I purchased these from Offer-up.” (Lenox Eternal is currently on sale here: Lenox Eternal.)
Jackie’s pretty gold flatware, Marchesa Imperial Caviar by Lenox, is available here: Marchesa Imperial Caviar. Jackie said, “I bought service for 24 for a party I had last year, so I use these in the kitchen and dining room, too! The Gold Chargers are from Home Goods.”
Jackie dressed her dining room chairs in lovely gold sashes. Beautiful! It gives the whole setting such an over-the-top special feel, perfect for the holidays!
Jackies shared where she found all her table linens saying, “Runners, napkins, and chair sashes are from my go-to store here in Dallas, Wedding Linens, Inc., but they have an online site too.” (Online site is weddinglinensdirect dot com.)
I love this view with one of Jackie’s many Christmas trees and her lovely sideboard in the background! Just gorgeous!
Such a beautifully decorated sideboard! Love the painting hanging above! The frame is really beautiful, too! It reminds me, I need to get my newly-purchased painting framed once I’m back home.
Thanks so much to Jackie for sharing this beautiful, elegant table with us for our last Tablescape Thursday of the year. I’m so looking forward to 2021 and another year of creating and sharing the beautiful tables we lovingly create for our families and friends. Happy New Year to you and your loved ones!
Looking forward to all the wonderful table settings linked for this week’s Tablescape Thursday!

Tablescape Thursday
If you are participating in Tablescape Thursday, please be sure to add your permalink below, and not your general blog address. To get your permalink, click on your post name, then copy and paste the address showing in the address bar, into the “url” box when you link up. You’ll need to include a link in your post back to the party to link up and participate.
That’s so visitors to your blog will be able to find the party and the other Tablescape Thursday participants. Requiring a link back also prevents businesses and scammers from linking up to sell their products. (Yep, that really happens, unfortunately.) If you see a post that’s not table setting related, let me know and I’ll remove it.
Please, don’t add your post name/blog name ALL IN CAPS…it tends to create big spaces between the rows of links.
Please link up table setting or table setting related posts only for Tablescape Thursday.
This party has ended, click button below for the links to all who participated.
Breathtaking. The chandelier with Poinsettias and gold beads is incredible.
And I love Jackie’s/the decorating show’s peppermint sticks!
I also loved Jackie’s tip on going to the Dollar Store at the beginning of each season to find the best things like her adorable nutcrackers.
Jackie and you are both super creators!!
Wendy
Thank you for the nice comments Wendy. Spent a lot of the weekend packing it up for next year! Happy New Year!

Thank you Brenda for your nice comments. Yes – here’s to a better New Year – bring it on! – Jackie
Yes Susan, I love the kitchen square table, so warm and cozy.
The formal dining room has amazing and elegant decorations, like professionals and wow, so much throughout the entire dining room too !
Thank you for hosting this last party of 2020, a very unique and strange year, to say the least.
Happy, healthy and blessed 2021 for you.
Fabby
Thank you Fabby. Happy New Year. Here’s to a postitive 2021! – Jackie
Oh my gosh – that’s stunning Jackie! Another gorgeous table and such wonderful inspiration!
I so love these tables you share Susan – Tablescape Thursday is one of my very favorite things each week. Hope you both have a wonderful New Year and see you back here 2021!
Thank you Barbara. Happy New Year to you too. It was a fun decorating year – guess we did not have much of anything else to do 🙂 – Jackie
Gorgeous! Inspired me to go to the trouble to set my New Year’s Eve table with the ‘good’ gold trim Bavarian china. Happy New Year Susan and all the great participants on Between Naps on the Porch!
Thank you Linda – and great that you decorated your New Year’s Eve table. It always make me feel better to have a pretty table to look at and enjoy. Happy New Year. – Jackie
The poinsettias in the chandelier is a clever twist. Stunning table.
Thank you Mia. I like to give my chandelier color for the season – just be very careful removing the decorations out of the chanelier – it’s easy to knock off a crystal piece. I did but was lucky it did not break. Happy New Year! – Jackie
Happy New Year! Thank you so much for hosting a wonderful party throughout the year. I always look forward to spending my Thursdays with creative tablescapes. Hope you had a very merry Christmas. Here’s to a better 2021!
I love Tablecapes Thursday too – Susan always gives me such inspiration to keep on decorating. Happy New Year! – Jackie
Oh my goodness how gorgeous is this table and dining room!! So elegant. I will definitely be looking on Netflix for Mr. Christmas. Thank you for the inspiration.
Hi Barbara, Yes, Mr. Christmas was great binge watching. They were so heart warming too – just wish they did more than 4 episodes. Happy New Year!
-Jackie
Love the sashes on the dining chairs – I have always wanted to try it. Any ideas on how to keep them from slipping down when a guest sits in the chair?
Hi Marilyn, I watched a You Tube video on how to do the sashes – they tell you to tie them very tight – which I did. I had my adult kids come over and have dinner at the table and the sashes all stayed put. Happy New Year.

Such elegance and beautifully done! Had to smile to myself when I saw the candy canes as hadn’t purchased such in years however in lieu of bows tied them on to the ‘gifts from the elves’ for those who grace our Dinner Table which is a tradition of ours every year. Though most are adults now, they were a big hit … ☺.
-Brenda-
P.S.: Printed out your Devils on Horseback recipe and will definitely give them a try. (Thank you!)
Beautiful!
Jackie’s table setting and decorations are beautiful. I also loved her dining room table and chairs. I’m in the market for a new dining room table and chairs. Would she share where she purchased them, I live just north of Dallas.
Susan, the Insanely Awesome Champagne Punch was a hit. I’ve already served it at 2 Christmas Tea’s and Christmas Day.
Thank you,
Lisa
I’m so glad! It’s my fave! 🙂
Hi Lisa, I actually got the table for $200 back this summer. Someone was downsizing and I got lucky and grabbed it. I found it on the Offer up application. The chairs I purchased to about a week later from Offer up too. I believe they were 10 fo $300 which was a great deal – I decided to have them reupholstered – of course it was a little bit more – but I love the set.
Happy New Year. – Jackie
Lisa, I just saw a beautiful dining room table and chairs on an online auction ending tonight here in Dallas! Take a look – I am not sure your style but this is one that I would purchase. Here is the link – you will have to scroll through the listings the dining room table and chairs are in seperate lots. I have had luck with good buys in auctions – but be careful – sometimes the bids do get high. – Jackie

Another stunning tablescape, Jackie! Thank you for sharing so many lovely pictures of your home–great inspirations! Susan, I hope you and all your readers have a healthy and joyous 2021!!! I look forward to another great year shared with you. Hugs!
Thank you Bobbi, I really enjoyed sharing my tables this year. Since I was unable to have guests to my house because of Covid – it was really nice to see them online. Happy New Year!
-Jackie
Very pretty and professional. I am curious about the gold under the plates. More sash ?
Susan, thanks for sharing. Happy New Year to you and your family and Jackie.
FYI Here you have to go to Dollar Tree several times a week to find new things. Easter is already out !
Hi Myrna, The satin that is under the plates are table runners from the same place I got the napkins and sashes. I believe they were less than $2 each. I was going to hit up Dollar Tree this week to look and see if they had any Valentine’s Day decorations that I may need 🙂 . But wow Easter already – I better go tomorrow! Happy New Year! – Jackie
Thanks to Jackie, Kathie and I are now binge watching and enjoying greatly the Holiday Home Makeover show on Netflix. I picked a number of great ideas but I have to say I did not like one bit the tablescape in the first episode. Mr. Christmas should read the tablescape posts in BNOTP!
Ha Ha! Yes, Mr. Christmas should subscribe. Happy New Year!
