St. Patrick’s Day Table & A Super Cute Idea For A Spring-Easter Table Centerpiece

Welcome to the 909th Tablescape Thursday! St. Patrick’s Day is just a little more than two weeks away. Makes me so happy to say that because that means spring is almost here. I’m so excited for spring to get here, a few days ago, I went ahead and changed the BNOTP header to the spring banner. I don’t think I’ve ever changed it this early before, but this has been a doozy of a winter, and in my mind, it’s already gone! lol

I have an adorable spring centerpiece to share, but if you’re looking for a bit of inspiration for your St. Patty’s Day celebrations this year, check out this previous table setting. (View this table setting in full here: St. Patrick’s Day Table Setting.)

So, about this spring centerpiece: Several years back, I created this spring centerpiece using two hurricane-style vases.

It was easy and a lot of fun to make. You’ll find detailed information on how to create this centerpiece here: Double Hurricane Centerpiece.

Recently, I came across this darling floral centerpiece and thought how great it would be for a spring or Easter table setting. It appears to be made in the same way that I made my double-vase tulip centerpiece so many years ago, but instead of using little Easter eggs, they used colorful Peeps. The Peeps are not real candy, so you don’t have to worry about ants showing up to celebrate spring with you. Ha! If you would like to make this charming centerpiece, you’ll find the Peeps available here: 45 Peeps. I also found this design using 4 colors of Peeps here: 48 Peeps. I prefer the three-color design best, so I’m hoping those will work for the two vases that I have back home in Georgia.

If you don’t want to use real tulips, which I’ve never had luck with lasting very long, you’ll find these very realistic-looking tulips that I love and have used in previous table settings here: Realistic-Looking Faux Tulips. (View the table setting below here: Spring Tablescape.)

Happy Spring! (Please don’t tell me it’s still winter—I’m in denial! Looking forward to the beautiful tables linked for this week’s Tablescape Thursday!

If you are participating in Tablescape Thursday, please be sure to add your permalink below, and not your general blog address. To get your permalink, click on your post name, then copy and paste the address showing in the address bar, into the “url” box when you link up. You’ll need to include a link in your post back to the party to link up and participate. That’s so visitors to your blog will be able to find the party and the other Tablescape Thursday participants. Requiring a link back also prevents businesses and scammers from linking up to sell their products. Please, don’t add your post name/blog name ALL IN CAPS…it tends to create big spaces between the rows of links. Please do not link up table settings that were just recently shared in the last few weeks for Tablescape Thursday.

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

  1. I have appreciated your recommendations for seasonal pillow covers, and napkins. Do you have a ‘go-to’ for silk flowers?
    Peace,
    Lin from NC

    • Not really. I like the tulips that I purchased from the company that I linked in this post, but I haven’t really purchased a lot of silk flowers in recent years. Wish I had a suggestion. Maybe a BNOTP reader will have a suggestion and will leave a comment here.

    • Lin, check out Judy’s comment on this post; she has some ideas for you.

  2. I ❤️ PEEPS…I know, I know…most folks don’t (I’ll take them!!) CUTE IDEAS!! franki

Hello, I had my own silk flower store in Scottsdale AZ for years so here are my recommendations: If you live near a Hobby Lobby, go there, great selection and prices when they are on sale. If no Hobby Lobby, use Amazon, they have a lot of silks and they are fine. You can also try Michael’s if that’s store is closer to you but there selection is more limited than HL. Hope this helps!

  4. The Peeps are so cute! Love those with the tulips! I’m right there with you on hoping to rush spring a little bit this year – I’m ready! Thanks so much for hosting the Thursday party!

  5. Your banner isn’t really too early; the first day of ‘meteorological’ spring is this Sunday!!! And next Sunday is the time change.

  6. Love that adorable centerpiece! Love the tablescapes, too. Happy nearly Spring, Susan.

I'd love to hear from you! Please leave a comment!
