My April Favorites, Including Cherished Old Loves

When I share my favorites each month, I normally share those favorites that are recent purchases. My sun necklace is not a recent purchase, but one I’ve been wearing so much lately. This necklace came in two sizes, and initially, I purchased it in its smaller size. Later I regretted not getting it in the larger size, so a few years ago, when I discovered it was finally back in stock again, I sold my smaller version to Fashionphile and ordered the larger one. I remembered to bring it with me when I came up to the Dollhouse and I’ve been wearing it almost non-stop. It is my favorite piece of jewelry! It is absolutely stunning and sparkles so beautifully. Every time I wear it, it garners tons of compliments!

I was shocked to see that it has gone up quite a bit since I purchased the larger size in July 2021, but at least it is still available. It would make a wonderful Mother’s Day gift. A friend and I were talking sheets recently, and she recommended these to me. I have a lot of flannel sheets, but needed some non-flannel for summer. I am super impressed with these and am going to order another set. They washed beautifully, and I think the quality is really nice! I ordered these Buffalo plaid curtains last month, hoping they could work in my office, but the pattern was a bit too large to go with the other fabric and rug designs I have going on in that room. I have been missing my hand weights that I keep in my office back in Georgia. I like to use them a couple of times during the day while watching a YouTube video. I ordered these last month and was so impressed with how comfortable they are to hold, I knew they had to make my favorites. I like them way more than the ones I have at home. I ordered a set of the Napolion Bee Ice Tea Spoons a few months ago. I use them for so many things, I went ahead and ordered another set in April, so now I have 8. In addition to stirring sugar or any sweetner into tea or a beverage, I use them for really down into deep jars without getting my fingers messy. Well, you know I love this round, wood table that I purchased last month to go at the end of the sofa, because I turned right around and purchased a second one for the other end. If you have kids or grandkids, either teenagers or younger, and you could use some extra seating in a movie room, living room, or a kid’s room, this chair is a winner! Love this large console I ordered to go underneath the TV I bought for the movie room I’ve been putting together. It’s fairly short, which means a TV can sit atop it or hang on the wall at the perfect height for viewing while sitting. Ideally, you want a TV to be around 42 inches up from the floor for optimal viewing. This console worked out beautifully for that. The tissue/remote holder I ordered is working out great in the movie room. I chose one in black since I knew it would end up on the console, and I didn’t want it to distract from the movie we would be watching. I placed it at the end so when someone enters the room, they can pick up the remote as they pass by, then drop it back in once they are through watching and leaving the room. So enjoying this fun Movie Night sign! Everyone in the family loves it and wants it on when we are in the room watching a movie. Even though I had a whole-house surge protector installed in the Georgia house and here in the Dollhouse, I still like having all my large electronics (like TVs and computers) plugged into good surge protectors. I purchased the same surge protector I use for my computer here and in Georgia for the movie room. It’s rated 4,320 Joules of protection, and I really like how the outlets pivot, making it super easy to plug in those devices that have big, bulky plugs. Surge protectors need to be replaced every few years because they are kind of like sponges. They can only absorb so many surges before they no longer work properly, so I replace the ones for my computers every few years.
