At the top of my November favorites list are these super warm gloves that I purchased last month. I would like to spend this winter doing more walking outside, so I’ve been working on ways to combat the cold this winter. I tested these out on a recent walk and found them to be very warm. I really liked that I could easily answer my phone while wearing them. I purchased mine in size Medium, but I probably should have gone with a Small since the fingers are a little long. I just reordered a second pair today in a size Small. If you need cozy, warm gloves this winter that will work with a phone, you’ll find these available here: 3M Thermal Insulation, Winter Gloves—Work with Phones and iPads.

Last month, I added this night light to the basement furnace/laundry room over near Beatrice and Agatha’s litter boxes. I really like that the brightness level is adjustable. That was important since I didn’t want the light to be so bright that it blinded them while using the litter box, especially since it’s down near their eye level. If you sometimes find some night lights to be too bright, check this one out here: Nightlight with Adjustable Brightness, 2-Pack.

I was careless last month, forgetting to use my Cutemol cream regularly after washing dishes and cleaning, and I ended up with a split thumb. That pain was a quick reminder, and I immediately started using this miracle cream several times a day to heal the split. Since then, I’ve been doing a better job at remembering to use Cutemol after washing dishes or anytime I have my hands in water. I love how Cutemol protects my dry skin year-round, but especially during the wintertime! Hope they never, ever stop making it! It’s also a miracle worker on heels…almost transforms them overnight! You’ll find it available here: Cutemol.

The kitties had a few favorites last month, too. They are obsessed with the water fountain I bought for them. I fill it up every 3-4 days, and when they see me pick it up to refill it, they get so excited. The minute I place it back down on the floor, they are all over. They drink a lot and really love the fresh bubbling water! This is the one I purchased, and so far, it’s doing great: Cat Water Fountain.

The Fairy Cat door into the laundry/furnace room has been a hit, too. The kitties figured out it was for them right away and use it without any issues when they need to reach their basement litter box. I like that I have the option to close and lock the fairy door if I need to keep the kitties out if a plumber or HVAC repairman is working in that room. I also like that when the fairy door is open, the door locks into place and doesn’t move at all when the large door is opened and closed. Such a great design! You’ll find this adorable Fairy Door here: Fairy Cat Door.

The kitties are still enjoying their Christmas tree.

Definitely recommend this tree/scratching post/hideout if your cats love having cozy hiding spots to hang out. You’ll find this adorable Kitty Christmas tree is available here: Christmas Tree for Cats.

I’ve really enjoyed these fabric refrigerator handle covers that I added to the refrigerator doors flast month. No more constantly having to wash fingerprints off the handles! I like them so much, I purchased a second set today so I’d have more than one set when these eventually need to be washed. They don’t seem to show anything, which I love!

The fingerprints on the handles were driving me nuts before I added these. These have definitely been a sanity-saver! You’ll find these available in a bunch of different colors here: Refrigerator Door Handle Covers.

Still loving these fleece-lined leggings/yoga pants that I bought in November. My DIL liked the ones I purchased for myself, so I bought her a pair, too. You’ll find these warm, fleece-lined leggings available here: Fleece-Lined Leggings/Yoga Pants.

Last month, I also purchased these fleece-lined denim jeans. I haven’t had a chance to wear them yet, but they fit like a dream when I tried them on. You’ll find these available here: Winter Jeans, Fleece-lined Skinny Denim Jeans.

This tuxedo kitty was a lot of fun to build. I had just started working on it…was a few Lego bags in, when my oldest grandson stopped by.

He LOVES Legos and asked if he could help. I will never forget that day, watching my favorite Christmas movie (Home Alone) with him while he put together a portion of the body. It was such a special memory, I grabbed my phone and took a photo so I would never forget it. I would love nothing more this winter than to spend the day building Legos with my grandsons while watching a favorite Christmas movie!

Just a few feet away, Beatrice and Agatha supervised the cat building process from on high.

Mr. Lego Kitty is currently hanging out on the fireplace mantel in the movie room. If you know someone who loves Legos and cats, you’ll find this Lego build available here: Lego Tuxedo Cat.

Merry Christmas! Can’t believe it’s just 9 days away!

Beatrice and Agatha are living a life of leisure! They look so adorable peeking out of the cute tree. Enjoy seeing their antics and I’m not even a cat lover!
Thanks, Bonnie! I’ve missed them while I’m here in GA but will see them again soon.
Thank you so much for this post, because the fingerprints on my refrigerator door handles are driving me wild. I had no idea that there were covers available for the sticky fingered. I look forward to getting them on as soon as they arrive.
I understand…so frustrating! I was desperate and wondered if anyone else was having that issue, so did a search on Amazon and was so happy to find those!
Remember when we called it Kodac memories? I don’t think you will ever regret moving near the grandsons. I was thinking about your other night lights that stay on when the power goes off. Do you still have the link?
I need yoga o much here.
Also, I have such an improvement when I switched my cats to bottle water. With my other cat that passed away, after spending about $2000 because he couldn’t urinate (a common problem with male cats in the winter), he was put on distilled water. Never had another problem. If you have white dogs with brown spots near their eyes, try distilled water.
Stay warm.
I have these: https://amzn.to/4pJ4Npj , and I have these: https://amzn.to/4pJ4Npj
I use both of those.
I hope these kitties never develop any kidney issues, that’s such a common issue with a lot of cats as they age.
Merry Christmas to you and your family. It is startling how much your life has changed in the last year or so. Buying the house in Ohio, spending quality time with your family and getting the kitties, just to name the big changes. I guess I am in a reflective mood today. In the last decade, I retired, moved to Florida and got married! Big changes in my life too. I am wishing you a wonderful 2026.
tell me about your new fridge love it
Tamara, I shared a post about it here that I think you’ll find helpful: https://betweennapsontheporch.net/how-do-i-like-my-new-lg-instaview-door-in-door-counter-depth-refrigerator/
Oh what a great moment with your grandson! A and B are so pretty. At the fountain their coats look smoke blue. My female cat has a urinary problem and I am giving her a herbal cranberry mixture (liquid) that has given her some relief. She was diagnosed two years ago.
Susan, I’ve come to realize your posts were boring before the kittens, lol. I look forward to seeing their latest escapades.
lol They definitely liven things up! I feel like I have two toddlers running around the house who need constant supervision.
Thanks for the tip on the gloves…just ordered them for my husband. He has cold hands all the time and wears leather gloves that are too bulky – especially in the car with all the touch screens. The radio keeps changing the station because his finger is hitting the touch screen! These should be here for his CHRISTMAS EVE BIRTHDAY!!! Merry Christmas!
Some outstanding suggestions…..already have a few in my shopping cart as I look for a few more things! My goodness: those two kittens are just SO BEAUTIFUL! Very lucky felines. Thank you for sharing these great finds, Susan.
