The Black Friday Sales Are On & Here Are Some Of My Favorites!

The Black Friday Deals are already underway, and some are way too good to resist! I’ve been itching to try this hair curler that I’ve seen people raving about on Instagram. I’ve never used a curler like this, but from listening to others, some curlers are terrible about trapping hair inside and not releasing it easily. This one is advertised as never doing that; it will literally reverse itself to release the curl. I like that a lot! I think I’m going to order one to try since returns are free if I don’t like it, AND it’s drastically on sale right now. You’ll find it on sale in both the 1-inch and 1.5-inch barrel sizes here: TYMO Hair Curling Iron. Update: Just discovered that there’s a TYMO CurlPro Plus that has an even longer barrel for really long hair here: TYMO CurlPro Plus, Long Barrel.

I just purchased these fleece-lined leggings/yoga pants recently, since I want to stay warm this winter while I’m out on walks. These, along with a long hoodie, will be my walking attire when it’s freezing out. I love how they fit and how they feel when I’m wearing them! I went with a size medium and felt it was true to size. If you could use some comfy, warm leggings/yoga pants this winter, you’ll find these available here: Fleece-Lined Leggings/Yoga Pants.

Love, love, love my two Dyson Vacuums! I have one in Georgia and one here at the Dollhouse, and they have cut the time it takes me to vacuum the house in half. I can really zip through the rooms when there’s no cord to slow me down. My Dyson vac is one of those items that if it ever dies, I’ll immediately buy another one. Can’t live without it! This model, which includes several attachments, is currently on sale here: Dyson Vacuum.

I love my big Cuisinart food processor, but for 95 percent of the things I need to chop for things like soup, I always end up using this chopper that I purchased many years ago. I just used it a few days ago for chopping onions when I made Butternut Squash Soup. It’s awesome and super easy to clean, as long as you don’t let food dry onto it overnight. I always rinse mine off right away once I’m done chopping. It’s currently on sale for a great price here: Awesome Vegetable/Fruit Chopper.

I purchased this adorable and super handy salt cellar shortly after moving into the Dollhouse. I use it all the time, including when I make the aforementioned soup! lol

Not sure if they had this adorable design when I purchased mine, but you’ll find it currently on sale in several designs here: Bamboo Salt Cellar.

Update: Keep forgetting to mention this so I’m adding it to this post: If you plan to hang a lot of wreaths this year, including on interior or exterior windows, here’s where I purchased all my bows a few years back when it was finally time to refresh them: Christmas Red Velvet Bows with Long Streamers.

Christmas House with Wreaths in Snow

They have held beautifully, and the price is excellent for a dozen large exterior-grade red velvet bows with streamers. I love the long streamers! You’ll find the bows available here: Christmas Red Velvet Bows with Long Streamers.

Decorate Outside Windows With Wreaths

I use my Emeril Lagasse oven/air fryer/toaster a lot since it heats up so much faster than my ancient oven. I’m always baking homemade chicken pot pies from Dorothy Lane Market or the Patti LaBelle peach and apple cobblers. Yum!

You’ll find this awesome air fryer/toaster/baking oven on sale 25% off here: Large French Door Air Fryer/Toaster Oven.

When I just want to Air Fry something, I still use my Ninja air fryer. I have one in Georgia and one here in Ohio, and they both get a regular workout, especially for reheating slices of pizza. I love how crispy the crusts get! You’ll find this Air Fryer currently on sale here: Ninja 8 Quart, Dual Zone, 2 Basket Air Fryer.

My favorite Weather Station is currently on sale. I have three of these in Georgia and three here in Ohio, and I refer to them daily before heading out on errands or to work in the yard. You’ll find this beautiful Weather Station on sale here: My Absolute Favorite Weather Station. Pssst…they make great Christmas gifts, too!

In this older photo of the movie room, you’ll see an Air Purifier that I purchased for the basement. Since there are no windows that I can open in that space, it helps keep the air nice and fresh.

It really comes in handy when I make popcorn.

Theater Movie Room with Popcorn Machine

Not sure if you can see it down in the right corner of this photo, but whenever I pop popcorn, the white light temporarily changes to red, and within minutes, it will clear the air and turn the light back to blue and then white. I’m always amazed by how fast it responds to changes in the air and how quickly it clears it.

Movie Room, Home Theater, Updates

You’ll find it currently on sale here: Air Purifier.

Great time to stock up on batteries while they are on sale! You’ll find all the various sizes on sale here: All Energizer Batteries (9V, C, D, AAA, and AA).

I’m going to create a separate post sharing toys that I think would be great for the little ones you’ll be shopping for this year, but in the meantime, here are two that have outstanding reviews and are currently on sale. This fun dinosaur carrier had 4.7 stars after 4,144 reviews! I wish this had been around when my grandsons were younger. Actually, my youngest grandson still plays with all his dinosaurs a lot, so he would probably still enjoy this. You’ll find it on sale here: Dinosaur Carrier Transport.

Ticket to Ride has 4.8 stars after 5,536 reviews! You’ll find it on sale here: Ticket to Ride Game. It would make a great gift for ages 6 and up.

Not on sale, but I had to share this whimsical, fairy cat door I just purchased for my kitties. I have a handyman coming out next Tuesday to fix the mystery holes the kittens have found in the Butler’s Pantry and the upstairs hall bath. If he has time, I’m going to ask him to install this in the door of the basement room where I plan to ultimately place the kitties’ litter box. I like that I can close/lock the tiny door for now, since I don’t want them going into the laundry/furnace room until they are a little older. If you could use a kitty door somewhere in your home, you’ll find this adorable fairy cat door available in three colors here: Adorable Fairy Kitty Door.

I just recently purchased this bird seed to try, and my birds love it! It’s a blend of Oiled Sunflower, Sunflower Hearts, and Safflower, which attracts Cardinal, Grosbeaks, Chickadees, and a lot of other birds, including those that aren’t able to crack open sunflower seeds. You’ll find it included in the Black Friday sale here: Bird Seed, 10 Lbs.

Last Christmas, I purchased this adorable Gingerbread House pillow, and I couldn’t wait to pull it out again this year! You’ll find it available in a slightly different version here: Gingerbread House Pillow.

They also have a gingerbread pillow available in a new style that’s larger and super detailed. This one measures 17.5 x 16 inches. I love the Santa going down the chimney! You’ll find this adorable pillow available here: Gingerbread House Pillow.

I’m so glad the Black Friday sales are starting early—I find this so much easier than the pressure of shopping the sales immediately the day after Thanksgiving, when we still have family visiting and other family activities going on. Happy Pre-Black Friday Shopping!

  1. My 10 year old niece absolutely LOVES that curling iron. She has long gorgeous thick hair and it’s safe for her after a few “lessons” from her mom and now she gets ready with curly hair on special days all by herself. She sent me a video of how easy it is to use. She was so cute doing it and it was fun looking.

  2. Fun post! So many good deals here, Susan. That little cat door is adorable! I have a fairy door that is simply decorative for an outdoor tree, but I love the idea of one that actually opens, lol.

  3. I love your GA house trimmed in wreaths and snow!

Great list. I’m getting the chopper device.

    Kisses to the kittens!

    Wendy

  4. The Georgia House always looks picture book perfect with the wreathes out! I’ve never had a chopper so just might put an order in. I see in the videos it also cubes cheese, but is it hard to clean. A good cheese grater is what I really need. The kitty door? So cute!

    • Thanks, Kathleen! I miss the GA house when I’m not there. I think it would be okay for hard cheeses, but I’d rather use a grater for cheese. It’s really good for onion, celery, apples…things like that.

I'd love to hear from you! Please leave a comment!
