Welcome to the 149th Tablescape Thursday!
It won’t be long now, Independence Day is just four days away. Do you have any big plans for your 4th of July celebration?
It was so nice out, I decided to put this tablescape out on the porch.
I used my fave patriotic dishware by Warren Kimble. The pattern is called, “Colonial.”
A red lantern decorated with a touch of red, white and blue ribbon worked well as my centerpiece.
The napkin rings were super easy to make. You’ll find a detailed tutorial here: 4th of July Napkin Ring Tutorial
The flatware is by Hampton Forge and is available here: Hampton Forge San Remo
The porch is all decked out for Independence Day, including the Summer Breeze sign.
Getting dark out now, time for a little candlelight.
Thank-you to all the men and women, past and present, who make it possible for us to celebrate with freedom this Independence Day!
Hope you have a wonderful 4th of July!

Sorry – as I am in the UK we don't celebrate the 4th of July ( would sort of not make sense :-)) ) So have included a festive breakfast table.Your porch looks very celebratory, hope you have a great 4th of July.
You know, I only noticed just now how enormeously big your porch is, as you have not just a dining area but alos a sitting area and then also the outside porch. When times are hard, you could always rent it out as an extra home to another family, hahaha- perish the thought- what a horribly idea -only joking!!I'm just jealous :-)))
A wonderful patriotic tablescape. I wish you, your family and blog followers a very happy 4th July!!
Phil and I have just come back from a visit to the Normandy beaches. It was great that the American, Canadian and British servicemen were able to work together to liberate France in June 1944.Sadly with a great loss of life as we found out when we visited the cemeteries.I have a few posts on the visit.

Susan!…my heart is full to overflowing with tears! Thanks for being a true patriot! And honoring all the ones that have fought to keep us a FREE nation where Ole Glory still fly's with pride!!

Thanks for the reminder…and you weren't even "off key"!
The table is lovely.
I had to share something with you.I fell in love with the colonial places and went on EBay..they were there for $30.00 a plate! So yesterday, my daughter and I went antiquing, and my daughter says”mom, there’s some fourth of July stuff there to look at”. And guess what I found? 4 colonial plates like yours!!!! And the best part? I got all 4 for……$8.99!!!!!! You would have thought I won the lottery I was so excited!!! Thank you for inspiring me every week…Btw, I found blue heavy water glasses for $.98 each at goodwill to match!!!!! Perfect day!!!!
Debbie, that’s awesome! When I found the Colonial set on eBay, I think I bought 8 place setting for around $125…something like that. This may be a bad time of the year to shop for that pattern…more demand right now. Check back on eBay a few weeks/months from now and prices will hopefully be better. I’m so glad you found the plates…it was meant to be! Good going on the glasses, too…great price!
